I have stayed in many hostels in the world over the years and Crossroads is one of the best. Even a Music night with local musicians was going to happen tomorrow but unfortunately I miss that.

Nice hostel on top of a hill with cafe

Very clean and spacious. Air con in bedroom. Toilet separate from shower. I was downstairs in separate self-contained unit with 4 others. Comfy beds. Own entrance with key to come and go. Cafe upstairs but unit had basic kitchen too. Upstairs you can walk to triangle tower. 5mins walk from Vlatadon monastery and acropolis for sunset views. Safe, restaurants up top of the hill. Bus 23 services this area. Various bus stops nearby. Generally reliable.

The partition wall separating living area from bedroom has a big gap along the top. So street light lights up bedroom at night. Use eye patches. Need to be quiet if in kitchen when people are sleeping too. Lots of tourist places are nearer the promenade so there is lots of walking from this hostel. When returning, mostly uphill. Good exercise and you get to explore the city more. Thessaloniki is big. All in all though, nice vibe in hostel which also is influenced by who stays.

An extremely beautiful hostel - highly recommended

A highly recommended hostel in a very beautiful setting. My daughter and I stayed in the 2 bed private room and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

There is a balcony adjoined to the room which is fantastic, but do note that it is adjoined to one of the dormitories. That's not a problem as such, just something to bear in mind.

Great place to stay in the city.

Good atmosphere with communal areas enabling you to meet and converse with other travellers. Dormitories were immaculate.

Nothing in particular but the staff tended to keep to themselves and I thought that the prices for the coffees and from the bar were excessive which meant that you had to cater for yourself from the local supermarket.

Very sweet, small hostel!

Super sweet, small Hostel away from all the city noise, 10 Minute Walk downhill/ 20 Minutes uphill from city center close to city wall ruins. Very spacious, female dorm, nicely renovated with own, well equipped kitchen, lockers and bathroom. Very friendly stuff! Little Café on the terrace included, supermarket & ATM close by. Easy to reach by walking or bus from city center.

Air conditioning in the female dorm would be sweet! Even though it stayed surprisingly cool with outside temperatures around 35 degrees.

A Great Respite

Comfy from the start. Laundry for only 3 Euros. Clean. Air-conditioning. Adorable. The beds make no noise. It attracts really respectful experienced travelers. It's only about a 15-20 minute walk to city center but just that distance makes it a really peaceful neighborhood. Bus 23 is practically right outside the door if you don't want to walk and you can pay on the bus by card if you don't want to buy tickets.

Beautiful comfortable stay!

I stayed here for 1 night in the 4 bed female only dorm. I was greeted by very friendly, kind and helpful staff. The room was huge and the beds were so comfortable with really nice sheets. Our room had a self contained kitchen and bathroom. I would highly recommend this Hostel for solo female travellers, it is amazing value for money and the location is perfect with easy bus connections down town and an incredible view of all of Thessaloniki and the sea.

Very friendly staff,and,although a little outdated ?? overall the property had a very cosy feel about it.It had a shared kitchen with plenty of utensils and also a shared common room with lots of comfortable seating.And lastly,a balcony with views down to the sea.

My favorite hostel with a magical atmosphere and the kindest people

The kindest employees and travelers. It was very social and easy to make friends. Magical atmosphere with music, drinks and sometimes food in the evening. Upon arrival it immediately felt like home away from home and a big family. Very clean and modern bathroom in the female dorm, spacious room, a lot of relaxing hangout spots including the terraces on the stairs. They even have a little coffee shop/bar. At first I was a bit skeptical about the location (it’s 20 minutes steeply uphill from the center) but this ended up to be my favorite neighborhood in Thessaloniki. A lot of nature, cute cafes and tavernas, and everyone hanging out by the city walls at night. Very calming and exactly the break from stress that I needed. One of my favorite hostels I have ever stayed in and I extended my stay from 2 nights to a week because I didn’t want to leave this magical place.

There are no curtains on the beds, but the room is big enough so that I didn’t mind as much as in other places.

The location is great, in front of the wall. It's quite a walk climbing up to the hostel from the center but the view and the neighborhood is worth it.

Having only one shower can be very challenging in the morning to have a shower without waiting ages.

Cozy hostel

The lower bed has enough height. A small plate was fixed under the socket, so you can put electronics there. Small details like this show the owner put great care in general.

It may be a bit difficult to navigate to the place, as it's distant from the city centre. However, you can get adequate information on inquiry.

Clean, beautiful and comfy

Lovely place in a beautiful area of Thessaloniki. Not the most central, but walking distance to the center and very quiet. Comfortable beds, although the double bed was too small to fit the both of us in a hot summer night (that you need some space), one of us had to sleep on the upper bunk bed. Very cozy reception area, convenient to do some work (I had a meeting there) and a beautiful area outside, under some trees, with tables and chairs to drink your coffee.

The bed size as mentioned before.

The location and the view from the Tower right next to the hostel overlooking Thessaloniki and the gulf, the hosts were polite and bed was comfortable. Books in English in the lobby room, balcony on which you can chill and have a little view of the sea.

The doors to the rooms are making a little bit of noise, would be nice if some improvements could be made to make them more silent.

beautiful location , staff were so kind didn’t mind my late check in. Guy at reception the next day kindly helped me order a taxi to the train station and explained to the driver for me that I would need to stop at an atm to take money out.
