The house is very well equipped and has everything you would need during a short stay. The property was very clean and given the very hot weather we were relieved that fans were provided. The hosts were friendly and attentive and I have no doubt that if we had needed their help they would have provided it. There’s a nice little enclosed and furnished garden where the evening sunshine can be enjoyed.
We found the stairs a little awkward, very steep and narrow and a little rickety (we had to leave our luggage downstairs). Parking nearby was difficult, it’s a busy residential area so it is usually not possible to park nearby.

It was a short walk to the train station and the centre of town. Albert is a short drive to the Somme battlefields. There is free parking out in the street. The house was fully equipped for self-catering. It had a washing machine and iron and ironing board. There was a small courtyard out the back to relax in.
The steep and narrow stairs to the bedroom. No big deal though. The lounge/TV room was dark - a more powerful light globe would improve it.

Self-catering. Location was fair.
Very basic, cheap furnishings and furniture. Gloomy lighting, no pictures or other "homely" items Bed was not good, uncomfortable and very basic
