Nice place, perfectly adequate, would book again in the summer but not in the winter
Good location, Good off street parking, clean, comfortable (in a basic way}, reasonably spacious (for a cottage) Nice open garden. Has character. Everything worked except the heating.
This is an old house and smells of damp when first entering and there is a little black mould in one of the bed rooms. The owner claims it has been refurbished including damp proofing. The heating didn't work to begin with but the owner did come and fix it, however, thereafter the radiators came on every time the boiler fired up to heat the hot water.

basic 2 bedroom cottage to sleep 4 - needs a bit of TLC see previous reviews but would stay again
the location was perfect for our needs. the size great for 2 adults . parking and wifi great . facilities/utensils in kitchen great . shower perfect . the place indoors was very clean . photos show bowls of fruit and breakfasts etc but this is not a B&B and there were no such items in the property . the table is in the lounge not the kitchen which suited us better.
the dirty doorbell and outdoor lamp. the musty damp smell upon entering. the frayed carpets at doorways (trip hazards) peeling wallpaper ,large damp patch in lounge under the area where the bathroom is ,no door handle either side of lounge door, 1 flickering light bulb which blew leaving 1 light bulb in lounge. we had to replace batteries in remote control (we mentioned this but all I received was a brief thank you message) cheap mattresses very uncomfortable. no wardrobe ,just clothes rail,1 bath towel each and I hand towel to share . cheap toilet paper and no shower/body wash gel in dispenser in shower......... despite all this if the owners can sort out these issues which have been brought up in previous reviews then we would definitely stay again

It was a very pleasant stay in a good and convenient location.
pleasant location
bulbs missing from the lights in the lounge, made it difficult to read. No hooks or towel rail in the bathroom made it inconvenient with spare clothing.

Perfectly fine
Spacious with well equipped kitchen. Good location with nearby Tesco and a good pub ( the Cock Inn).
Musty smell when we first entered. But too be expected with an older property like this. Some basic condiments like salt and oil would be useful for travellers, otherwise generally good

Peaceful, quaint, very enjoyable
we didn’t actually stay in the property above, but given a much bigger cottage next door. We had lots of space, the cottage was very old and decorated in keeping with its age. I loved the kitchen, in fact I loved all of it.
I would have liked a few more cooking utensils, a teapot etc. The small items like these in the kitchen were very limited. There was a dishwasher but if the house had a full compliment of seven or eight guests the dishwasher would have had to have been used after every single meal. Also I would have liked to have found a couple of board games etc for guests to use. Almost every cupboard in the house was empty.

A Cosy, Comfortable,and Clean Cottage.
Lovely presented cottage, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Good location to the village pubs and cafe, and the bus into Norwich.
We were very happy with the cottage and couldn’t have asked for more.

Convenient and quiet location in a property with a lot of potential which needs some updating
The location was superb
There was no bottle opener. So we bought one at £3.50 and left it for the property. The toilet seat and toilet itself was lose and the property could really do with a re-painting and general spruce up and a dishwasher would have been nice.
