The oceanfront units have direct beach access from their balconies. There is no elevator at Maritime Place. From Easter to November 1, go for a swim in the outdoor oceanside pool. Relax in the outdoor hot tub, which is open March 1 to November 1. Stay connected with Maritime Place's complimentary Wi-Fi. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, trailers, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

This had awesome ocean views, was close to pool, hot tub, beach and garden city pier. Just beware a lot of steps are required to get to unit. The living room furniture was very comfy when settling in for night.

We arrived on 7/10/21 and the check-in process was fast, easy and received keys to Maritime place. We were displeased with the condition of the condo when we opened the door. The Condo was dirty and needed a good cleaning as it appears this was not being done between renters. We found food under the tv/entertainment center and there were clothes left under master bed. The air conditioning vents had mildew or something on them and the place smelled like smoke from a previous renter or something. We went to the store and purchased air fresheners and a broom to clean with. On the following Monday I notified Dunes realty about these conditions and they were able to remedy some of them. The clothes dryer has rust forming on the drum and it ruined some of my wifes clothes by leaving stains on them.

This was our 3rd visit to Garden City Beach but our first time at Maritime Place. Overall we had a wonderful week! The location was perfect, beautiful oceanfront views and within walking distance to the Pier and shops. Check in went smooth. Was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Mirrors in the bathrooms were not cleaned. Light fixture above dining table was missing 2 bulbs. Found a few things under the twin beds left behind from previous tenant. Loved the beach access from the balcony as well as the pool and hot tub. Pool was clean however one day we noticed the hot tub turned green. The unit could use a good cleaning overall as some of the pictures and decorations on the wall had a build up of dirt and dust. We would however stay here again. The location and beach are what we visit for, not necessarily 5 star accommodations.

This is a three story building, so be ready to walk the stairs as there is no elevator. But, stairs do not bother me. A few minor issues with the unit, but overall, it was clean, accessible to shopping and amusements and other conveniences. The beaches are wonderful in the South end.
