    Nice place but a little too casual about the safety issues!
    The location is fantastic. Mary, at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was super comfortable.
    The deadbolt on the room didn’t work. We were cautioned not to use it because it gets stuck in the lock position! There were no signs on the door stating this - just the verbal warning from Mary. This is potentially a very dangerous situation If someone accidentally locked the deadbolt and needed to get out of the room quickly! Also, the heat wasn’t working in the room so we were told to use an electric heater that was in the closet. This also in very dangerous if the heater was used improperly. My guess is that the local fire marshal would be very concerning about the issues I mentioned above. I hope the hotel will get these things taken care of before something bad happens!

    Beautiful, huge room in historic hotel.
    The historical building was beautiful and our 2-bedroom suite was fantastic- roomy and elegant.
    We couldn’t control the heat and couldn’t get the gas fireplace to work so we were a little cold.
