Overall the condo was nice with lots of amenities plus was in great tourist area. There was a little confusion, on my part, with getting in but the host was quick to respond with assistance. I did recommend having a map of the condo property available because was challenge to locate the pool.

We only stayed one night as we were traveling to the Hilo side. We loved the location. So close to everything. The condo is very comfortable and nicely equipped with everything you need. The bed was a dream. It was so comfortable. Communication was good with very detailed information on how to check in and out. The Lanai was the best part. After a long day of traveling, we all just melted and relaxed. I actually fell asleep on the couch outside. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

We loved this perfect “Home Away From Home” condo. The Pacific Ocean directly across the front street Ali’i Drive and the location is exactly situated within minutes walking to everything. The secured parking was a bonus and hassle free. What we loved most was the condo had everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Extra pillows and blankets and beach gear too!!

We enjoyed the big lanai and the central location in the downtown business district. The condo had beach gear and enough supplies for us. It is ocean facing but the view is obstructed with a little view of the ocean. Downtown Kona has started charging for parking so it was nice to have included parking with the condo. It is also easy to get to without have to deal with too much traffic. We had a great stay with no problems.

We had been the area late, a little bit difficulty to find out the right place. We missed the entry during night time. But the rest of the experience was amazing. I love this location.

Upon entering the unit we were pleasantly surprised of the size. The location was perfectly in the middle of Ali’i Ave with all the restaurants and shops. Pros- Nice Location Nice size condo Stocked with plenty of beach and kitchen items. Washer & Dryer with pods. Furnished Lanai with a view of the ocean-(door does not lock) When the microwave went out Kris was quick to address the problem and fixed it immediately. Cons- NO IRON OR IRONING BOARD - Did not think to ask beforehand because even the cheap hotels have them. The rugs need a good vacuuming and cleaning. The bedroom, as previously stated in another review, smelled musty at times and the mattress was way too soft. Your body sinks each time you sit/lay on it. Was asked to wash the towels, dishes and take out the trash upon checking out. So, what was the cleaning fee for? Overall, we were satisfied with the stay.

Property was comfortable. Appreciated the beach chairs and towels and tips on snorkeling. Even if you do not wish to see historic Kona, the drives to beaches, National Parks, Costco and Walmart are short distances. Preferred our days on Big Island west coast, as compared to Oahu. Do not forget a drive to Volcano NP, only a few hours away. Thanks Kris for your hospitality!

Our family liked the homely atmosphere. Spacious condo with all necessary amenities. The property manager was very helpful when we misread the instructions for checkin and had to call them. They were very patient and made sure we were able to get in.

Property was very clean and tidy. For the most part, the info provided by the owner ahead of time was accurate. The only exception to that was the promise of an ocean view, when in fact you had to struggle to see the ocean. The bed, while big with nice sheets, was too soft for us. Each morning we woke up with sore backs.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. There isn't a view, unless you want to see the building behind you and hear the local bar scene. The hide-a-bed is large but very uncomfortable. The king sized bed is the closest to sleeping in a marshmallow that I've ever experienced. It's very soft with many pillows and sheets that don't breathe. The host is very nice! The apartment wasn't ready until a couple hours after the check in time, however, the host was very communicative. The location is convenient to touristy restaurants and shopping.

Pros: The location can’t be beat! Right in the heart of Kona with a free parking lot. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops. There’s an equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the closet! The apartment is quiet at night as well. The property owner/manager Kris was awesome and let us check in early and was easy to contact. Cons: the bedroom mattress is extremely soft with no support and a bit warped, when you lay down your body weight squishes in and you can’t lay flat. It was hard to get a good sleep as we were tossing and turning a lot on this mattress. Also the bedroom has a very musty/moldy smell which is probably from the high humidity the area gets. That said the pros outweighed the cons and we would gladly stay again, hoping the mattress would get changed to something that is a bit more supportive.

This property was great for a week stay in kona! only a couple minute walk to the heart of kona with a bunch of shops and restaurants nearby. the property was super nice and the owners included everything from snorkeling gear to a beach umbrella which was also a nice touch. Overall a great property to pick in the heart of kona!!!
