This lovely sixth floor ocean view condo in Kona Alii has an amazing view of Kailua Bay and is centrally located to all restaurants, cafes and shopping within Kailua Village. It is decorated with Hawaiian Island style. This one bedroom, cute fully furnished condo has a queen bed in the master bedroom, and the living room has a queenmurphy bed for additional guests. This condo is designed to make it easy to enjoy your vacation. Free local phone calls and complimentary Wi-Fi and parking available.

This unit includes a nice fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, murphy bed, an indoor dining area, as well as dining on the lanai. Take advantage and unwind or suntan in the pool after a long day.

The Kailua-Kona Coast has the most colorful and spectacular pink, lavender, and orange sunsets in Hawaii. Maybe you'll be lucky and spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset, as the sun dips behind the horizon. You can watch the incredible Kona sunsets right from your lanai, as well as the cruise ships, parasailing, whales and dolphins. The amenities at Kona Alii include a private complex pool and gas BBQ.

The Kailua-Kona Historical Village is steps from the lobby. The Village is very cute and quaint, with lots of charm and good shopping right along the water's edge. Some of the activities you can find in the Village and nearby are: beaches, luau's, farmer's markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing…Just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. There is so much to do to stay active, or you can do nothing and just lounge at the pool. This is a non-smoking, no pets property.

This is a beautiful unit in an older condo building with an amazing ocean view. It’s only 2 blocks from the farmers market, restaurants and shops in the heart of Kona. There were many amenities and supplies left by former tenants.,The ocean breeze and many fans kept the unit cool even in the heat of the day. The Murphy bed came in handy even for just the two of us. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. Check-in was easy even after dark, due to flight delays. Management was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this unit and this company.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kona Alii condo. While there is never a perfect place, the Kona Alii had all the things that made it a great stay. The condo was nicely decorated and comes with covered parking. The location provided a beautiful view of the ocean with gorgeous sunsets and moonsets. It is located in the heart of Kailua-Kona and allows you to enjoy the local restaurants and shopping without having to drive. Snorkeling and beaches are a short drive away. The only two downsides were loud music from passing vehicles and other miscellaneous noise makers on the main road as well as the condo does get a little warm on hot days. I run hot body temperature, and my wife does not so the temperatures were just fine for her and the numerous fans they provided helped me out a lot. Not much you can do about the noise, and we couldn’t hear the noise unless we were in the sitting room. These two things were easily made up for by the other benefits of the condo. We would definitely stay there again if it is available the next time I visit the Big Island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kona Alii condo. The location is conveniently located. I liked the key lock box and would use it every day to store room keys when we were out and about. The unit itself was larger than I had imagined from the pictures and the ocean view from the balcony is outstanding. I think about every second day we watched a group of dolphins playing from the balcony. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for me and the kitchen had more than enough pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery for what we wanted to do. We also used the BBQs a couple of time and they worked very well.

There is no better view of Kailua Bay. It was breathtaking. Being on the 6th floor you could see everything but the lanai was so private no one vould see you. Being right in Kona was very entertaing as well. We made lots of walks down Alii Drive and the surrounding area. It can get loud but we found if we had the fans on you couldn't hear much. We didnt want to leave.

This is our second time staying at the unit and once again happy with our stay. Pros the unit is stocked with everything you need including beach chairs, lots of towels, kitchen tools, etc. Cons, January the pool is mostly in the shade, no real easy beach access (small rocky beach across the street (cannot swim and has private sign) and can be noisy for the early to bed people as we are. I would rent again.

I have rented a lot of Vacation rentals but never have I rented a place with so much extras such as lawn chairs, coolers, snorkel gear not to mention lots of fans to keep you cool lots of pillows and comfortable beds. We will be back.

Perfect for us, the condo has everything for your vacation. We loved the lanai, the location can’t get any better, walk to shops and restaurants, you have your own parking spot. Management was very helpful and communication was seamless. No ac in the condo, we opened the bedroom window and kept the lanai screen open mostly, but it still is pretty warm during the day. The pool is not in the sun at all, very brisk water. Overall I would definitely would return and recommend.

We stayed here for a week and never wanted to leave! The location is perfect. We walked to so many different restaurants and shops so easily. We were so mesmerized by the view, pictures just don't do it justice. To wake up every morning and see the beautiful ocean right outside was like waking to a magical dream. We appreciated all the things provided.. towels, dishes and silverware, even binoculars for watching the dolphins that love to hang out in the ocean right outside. Check in and check out were so easy and convenient. The property manager is very easy to contact and quickly responded to any of our questions. We loved every second spent at this condo, and would love to stay here again next time we go to Kona! Highly recommended to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Kailua town!

We've stayed in the Kona Ali'i condos multiple times in different units. It's the best location!! From the gorgeous oceanfront views to the ability to go without a rental car, it continues to delight. Though at present, with the trolly not yet running again, a car would have been useful. Every morning the 10-minute walk is the perfect prelude to the iron-man open water course which delights my husband. The furnishings of this unit were a surprise on some levels. One overhead fan didn't work, on another, every blade has started to decompose. The outdoor chairs were covered in what I initially thought must be mildew, so I covered the one I used, though as the week wore on, I thought it may have just been that age had led to black flecks everywhere. One light over the sink didn't work and when we went to fix it (plenty of bulbs available) it literally fell apart in our hands. During our stay the water/ice unit in the fridge leaked a little every day. It wasn't too troublesome, but should have been shut off so that potential damage wasn't done. So at the beginning of the 16-day stay, I was prepared to give a poor rating since there are clearly some upgrades needed. However, the property is also generously stocked in every regard--from boogie boards, fins, and binoculars to games, dishes, and supplies--so at most every turn, rather than buy things for our trip or for the condo, we just needed to do a little searching. We had a fabulous vacation due in no small part to this wondrously placed and stocked condo.

Fun stay with the family. Centrally located with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning, but found there's a almost constant breeze that cools down the condo if you open the sliding doors, along with keeping the front door open. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

The lanai with 180* ocean view was our favorite place to eat, relax, de-stress. We enjoyed watching the sunset, whales, stars and moon, and the blue endless ocean. I can even cook and see the ocean view from the kitchen. We slept on the Murphy bed so we could wake up with the ocean view while laying in bed. A very big plus was having a designated Parking spot. The only complaint was the bedroom, not as inviting and had a musty smell. Truly loved the location, walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. We definitely would stay here again.

The view from lanai is beautiful! A lovely breeze off the ocean. This condo has all the essentials we needed: beach towel, chairs and snorkel equipment! Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. Most importantly at this time of year it’s hot and humid: a fan or two in every room was wonderful. It’s a wonderful, well kept home! I hope we will be back next year!

We stayed for a (short) nine day visit in Kona Ali'i 605. This was our first time in this unit but fourth in the building. The view, of course, is outstanding and the loungers on the lanai let us be very comfortable watching for dolphins and enjoying the sunsets. The unit itself was amazingly well stocked from dishes, glasses, spices, extra pillows, masks, snorkels, and a range of sizes for flippers. Although there's no air conditioning, the air flowed straight through from lanai doors to bedroom window. I was quite comfortable sleeping at night. We appreciated that the lanai was left slightly open and fans were turned on for our late night arrival. The unit cooled off quite quickly. We also were delighted with the late check-out (and yes, we were there when the earthquake hit! Luckily nothing fell but I did grab the vase that was wobbling! Such excitement!) All around - it was a great stay and we'd rent this unit again if it's available.

It was very well equipped condo.We never had to get anything in fact even food wise they left coffee,popcorn and spices.The Murphy bed was great although you have to love the sound of the ocean it's quite loud but just closed the door and it was fine.The views in the evening were spectacular and could sit on the deck with a glass of wine to watch.The building was well kept and in a nice area.If your looking for beach not so much:(You need a car for that.Would rent again no problem.
