Comfortable and well positioned for Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula

Nicely equipped and very large allowing my sister, her two kids, my elderly father and his wife and myself and my wife to each have a comfortable bedrooms. There were three bathrooms so no lineups waiting to use the bathroom and the washer/dryer made it so we could pack less for the week in Killarney.

There was no drip coffee maker which is not a big deal but was missed. There is no Wifi internet service at the house. There is a router that is on but the router has no input thus it projects a signal however has no access to the internet. Lastly, while it is walkable to town it is not ideal as you need to walk along a busy road then cross another very busy road before getting into quieter streets...

Very good

Very comfortable house, lots of space. Plenty of space for our grandchildren to ride their bikes. Toys and games in the house a good idea. All the family could sit down together for meals. Good instructions for using heat and hot water. Great location very near town, the younger family members walked it in about 20 mins us older ones took about half an hour. The house was very well equipped plenty of cutlery, utensils and crockery. Utility room equipped with both washing machine and dryer. Very comfortable stay.

Duvet covers and pillowcases in downstairs bedrooms could do with being updated. The ones there were spotless but well used.

The house itself is nice, clean and has a lot of space. Nicely updated kitchen and lounges. It has a clothes dryer which was a nice surprise.

Overall, the property itself is quite nice but it needs to up its service. We had to open drawers and look for any information on the house. It was a 25 minute brisk walk to the city center along a busy road. We chose it based on the description and not having a car. The description of 10 minutes was to the age of the city per the manager - the road was ok for us but could be a challenge for families with children. The directions for using the facility were woefully insufficient. To be fair, I believe the property manager would have continued to be available by phone but that is not what we would expect to have to do. We are from the US and had no idea how to turn on the radiators or water heater when we got to a very cold house. The locks on the door are a system that we don’t have and it took a long time to figure out. We didn’t know how the shower controls work and the toilets seemed to take several tries to flush which maybe also a system difference. The bath towels were an odd old assortment and there were not hand towels provided with the bath towels or in the main floor bath. No dish cloth or dishwasher detergent that I could find. The lack of wifi was an issue. It was pointed out in the Q/A but not obvious. The property description was updated to point out that it is not included after we talked to the property manager. We had a difficult time getting cabs to find the property using the ID information provided. The clothes washer has mold in it and needs to be cleaned. I could smell it in the next room.
