lovely situation, very spacious would definitely book again

More than a log cabin

Good amount of space - sitting room, dining room with more seating, breakfast kitchen, two bathrooms, utility. Beds very comfy. Peaceful location but still close to the A140.

Lovely cabin, lovely comfortable beds, nice outside space- we loved the property

Floors very creaky & noisy (woke the children up when we went to bed) and none of the doors seemed to close& lock securely.

Wonderful Rural setting oeaceful

This is our third stay and love it here. So peaceful in a rural location. Lots of wildlife. They have improved the garden area with the lodge so now dog safe for our small dog. The paddock and surround are well tended in zones the rest allowing for wildlife. Perfect in my opinion. Beds comfortable. Great bathrooms (x2) well supplied kitchen.

Third stay so very little we don't like. It was exceptionally hot and we could have used a fan. But this has never been an issue before. The doors are difficult to lock with a key but bolt easily. My parents are in their 80s and this confused them a bit, thinking it wasn't secure. We would have liked some dishwasher tablets to have been available as buying a box for 4 days was a bit of a pain so remember to pack some.

Chestnuts Garden Lodge was in a quiet location on the border of Tharston and Long Stratton in South Norfolk. It was very spacious. There were three bedrooms, enough for 5 sleeping kids/adults, two bathrooms, a living room, a diner/living room, a very well stocked kitchen and a utility room. There was a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven and hob. A covered patio with a fenced garden for kids to play in. Fields to walk your dog in. Very dog friendly. Lots of board games for the kids. 2 TV's and Wifi. Best self catered accommodation we've ever stayed in. Apart from our apartment in Bulgaria. Local Coop in Long Stratton is very good.

It was very quiet and relaxing. Lauren met us when we pulled up and told us the keys were in the door inside. She told us that if we needed anything just to ask. I left some personal feedback for her, which didn't offend her

Very cosy, secluded, quiet yet with a character to it

Having to collect all the rubbish & place them in bin (required buying of bin bags) & stripping of all bed sheets, pillow covers, duvets covers etc before leaving (a bit tough with 3 kids, 1 of special needs)

Home from home

Lauren and Edd have thought of everything, even down to games for the kids and Netflix on the TV. The paddock area with trampoline and goal posts for them to play on is a great idea. The lodge is a home from home with everything you would wish for, we will definitely be booking again.

There is nothing to say, the garden lodge is fantastic
