Cardrona Valley Studio (17)

Quiet and in one of the most lovely places out of wanaka. Cardrona Pub a must, staggering distance.

I was working and wifi was not very reliable which was a little frustrating be really a small niggle.

The unit is not very soundproof. On two nights there was a loud stamping sound coming through the ceiling from the unit above, late into the night (I was in Unit 17). I could hear people walking around and talking. That was the only down-side. Otherwise it's a great place to stay.

Great location. The bed was really comfortable with warmth beddings. Adequate utensils and cookwares for home cooked meals. Wall heater was working but could be warmer during winter with another heater - so the room was warm just enough.

WiFi wasn’t working at all. Couldn’t even logged in onto Cardrona app. Messaged host - unfortunately no reply maybe because it was during weekends. Next door was very noisy. They started running around (likely kids) at 2am - couldn’t sleep at all. No note about the switch for the stove in the kitchen is also the same switch for the heater in shower room - so thought the shower heater was working based on luck until discovering the connection.

Location is unbelievable. It is very quiet when we were there. It had a washer-dryer and a dishwasher that was very convenient for your stay.

The shower and washer-dryer was very dirty. We had to clean the shower before using it. There were no little soaps and shampoos to use. The fridge and the heater are noisey when switched on.
