About this house rental
The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this charming 160 m² farmhouse for rent in Bouconville-Vauclair, which can accommodate up to 11 people. It comprises a living room, dining room, separate kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely garden. Linen and towels extra. We look forward to welcoming you!
The house is composed as follows:
The house has a double north-south exposure offering you bright rooms.
First floor:
- Living room with sofa, armchairs, TV and fireplace (first flambé offered)
- Fully equipped kitchen: fridge, hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher...
- Dining room with large table for 10 guests.
- Well-decorated dining room with large family dining table seating 10.
- Shower room and WC
Second floor:
- Bedroom 1: Double bed (160x200 cm) which can be separated into two single beds, and a single bed.
- Bedroom 2: Double bed (160x200 cm) can be separated into 2 single beds.
- Bedroom 3: Double bed (140x200 cm).
- Bedroom 4: Double bed (160x200 cm) can be separated into 2 single beds.
- Bathroom with bath and WC
Second floor:
- Bedroom 5: Double bed (160x200 cm).
Exterior:
- Attractive 500 m² south-facing garden with trees, private and enclosed.
The gîte is ideally located in Bouconville-Vauclair, in a very quiet setting 3 km from the village. Shops are 8 km away.
Activities :
- 10 km from Center Parcs de l'Ailette (10 km), next to the golf course and water sports center.
- Equestrian center 3 km away, with rides for all levels.
- Aerodrome with microlight flights
- Quad biking.
- Chemin des dames: Dragon's Cave, Vassogne Museum, Vauclair Abbey, California Plateau and Observatory, Peace Gardens and Old Craonne Arboretum within 8 km.
- We're on the GR12 and right next to the Via Francigena.
- A little further afield is the medieval city of Laon (18 kms), Reims (35 kms) and its cathedral, the St Rémi basilica, the Champagne cellars and their Unesco heritage vineyards.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, you can park in the farm's courtyard. However, the courtyard is used as part of the farm's operations, so for safety reasons it is not part of the rental package.

- By train: St Erme station 10 km, Laon station, TGV to Reims
Other remarks :
- The accommodation does not have internet access.
- Bed linen and towels are available at extra cost: 20€ / single bed and 25€ / double bed to be paid on site.
- Bath mats, hand towels and kitchen towels are provided.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.
- Pets are not accepted.
- The garden is private to the gîte, while the courtyard is for professional use by the farm.

Superbe séjour pour Noel. Exactement ce qu'il nous fallait: la maison est propre et décorée avec gout. Isolés juste ce qu'il faut, nous étions au calme, entre nous. Un jardin pour les enfants. Des chevaux à proximité. Lieu vraiment plaisant.

Très belle maison chaleureuse avec jardin clos et grand calme. Maison très bien équipée. Propriétaires aux petits soins et réactifs. Chemins de randonnées à proximité ainsi qu’accès à Reims et Laon, activités aquatiques à Center Parcs et Axo plage (également location de vélos).

House is nice, fine garden, great bedrooms ,good beds. Kitchen is okay with necessary equipment but could be cleaner.
Garden equipment is good but only two luxury beds and no cushions.
Owner is very kind and available when necessary.
WiFi is not available and neither is 4G…
