Property is on the gulf side of 98. Steps away from the beach on an easy path to the property boardwalk. A 3 min walk with amazing balcony views of the gulf and nearby lake, well appointed spacious 2 bed 2 bath 6th floor condo at the Terrace of Pelican Beach is the perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday. Balcony faces southwest for perfect sunsets. No long wait for elevator. Follow the property boardwalk and arrive quickly at the beautiful white sands of Destin. No crossing the HWY. Umbrella service is an option and is best booked online before hand! Onsite, seasonal tiki bar and pizza shop! 4 pools, including a new wade in pool, and hot tubs are waiting. There are gyms and bbq areas and of course elevators and trolleys to help you with moving in! Great for families and couples alike.
Within walking distance of many near by attractions and shops, such as Big Kahuna's Water Park and Winn Dixie, there are several additional eateries, fish markets, butchers, surf shops just a short walk away. Harbor Walk, Village of Baytowne Wharf and Silver Sands Premium outlets are all a short drive or bike ride away. So many wonderful shops, delicious restaurants, outdoor events and festivals to see. Our favorite? Rent a pontoon, tiki boat or wave runners and spend the day swimming with dolphins and enjoying the merriment at Crab Island!

The Living Area ~ spacious and comfortable with a sleeper couch, two chairs, 40 " flat screen TV and beautiful views through the sliding glass door to the balcony. The stunning reflection of the gulf in the mirror adds to the feeling of being in paradise.
The Dining Area~ seats 6 at the open table right off of the kitchen with 2 additional seats at the breakfast counter perfect for the meals you make or bring home.
The Kitchen~ roomy kitchen perfect for cooking with new granite counter tops and sink. Full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Cutlery, plates, pots and pans, toaster, blender, coffee maker are all provided.
Bed and Bath
Master Bedroom~comfortable king sized bed and it's own slider to the balcony. Enjoy the beautiful view while still cozy in bed. Large screened TV competes with the view. The attached master bath has the arced shower rod for a roomy feel and includes the toilet area. You can wash up and get ready to go out at the separate sink and grooming area~ hairdryer is provided.
Guest Bedroom~ offers a comfortable queen bed, with TV, and a private, extra spacious and accessibly bathroom complete with a large tub with built in bench, hand rail, hand held shower. Perfect for a good rinse after a day on the beach.
Stackable washer and dryer is ready to assist and located right in your personal space!
The Balcony~2 sliding glass doors open to the private balcony from the master suite and living room. Oh the views! 4 new tall captains chairs for stunning views of both sunrise and sunset over the gulf and beautiful white sands of the Emerald Coast. Great place to people watch as you sip your morning coffee or evening cocktail as the pool and lake are directly below.
Our professional cleaning service is following CDC guidelines to make your stay a clean and safe one, with products approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., but please be patient as our housekeeping is taking extra time as your vacation home is prepared with every precaution in mind. Early check in during high season is difficult to accommodate.
Starter supplies provide: soap, shampoo, dishwasher soap, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, paper towels, toilet paper. Publix, Target, and Walmart are local if anything is forgotten and when supplies run low.

This property was ideally located to a beautiful beach, but that is not my reason for this poor review. As a rental property owner, I am conscientious of the heighten concerns for cleanliness and most importantly proper COVID standardized disinfecting . I feel that this property owners did not follow a conscientious standard to ensure whomever they have servicing their rental are following CDC approved or for the most part basic cleaning practices. My wife, guests and I cleaned areas that clearly had not been properly cleaned, if at all. The bathroom had no hooks for hanging our towels and as such required that they be placed on bathroom furniture that had dust and dirt accumulated on them. One such piece of wooden furniture placed over the toilet clearly had dried toothpaste stains and no telling what else invisible to the human eye. There was dust, dirt and trash behind the beds. A sofa throw was so soiled by past use that we had to wash it in the washing machine. These initial signs of a poorly cleaned location set the tune for the rest of our visit. I addressed these issues with the owner via email exchanges but her dismissive attitude only further concerned us that the poor cleanliness had more to do with economics than safety. I requested a refund of the cleaning fee that I was charged but instead the owner offered to reclean the rental. This was not acceptable to us halfway through our stay, but in all reality I don't think this was a serious offer as intentions to replace a cracked glass coffee pot and remove a broken chair never occurred. Property owners should be more conscientious of their obligations to ensure that guests/ visitors needn't be concerned on whether the bedspread they are covering themselves with is cleaned or when was the last time the dark bathroom rug at the foot of the toilet had been properly cleaned. I will not stay at this property again. VRBO should ensure that those using their site to advertise their properties for vacation rental are following approved and standardized cleaning. I am sure hotels have obligations to take certain steps to guarantee the cleanliness of their locations, why doesn't VRBO do the same?
