Kariappa House is a lush, serene oasis very close to a beach. In particular, I loved my room with its antique furniture and yellow floor. And effective air-conditioning! It was all so tastefully done up! Swimming in the pool in the midst of dense foliage, flanked by dreamy blue curtains was delightful. Dosa, fruit, croissant and coffee for breakfast were delicious. The manager was very accommodating and flexible when it came to check-in and check-out times, and the entire staff cordial and helpful at all times. And I appreciated the free shuttle ride for some shopping in the cute Kariappa autorickshaw. I would love to stay at Kariappa House again, for a week or longer. Thank you.

The property’s historic charm really stood out, giving an authentic feel of a traditional house. Surrounded by abundant greenery and close to nature, this aspect of our stay was truly delightful.
I felt that the price I paid did not match the services provided. The place felt more like a guest house or B&B rather than a hotel, and the overall experience did not meet my expectations.
