Casa Sansevera Lucca

The apartment was clean and pleasant and the hosts were nice, very helpful, and spoke excellent English. The beds were very comfortable, unusually so for a vacation property, and the A/C was strong. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Lucca and to the train station. We never moved our car the entire time we were there. (We also loved Lucca and could've happily have enjoyed it for longer than our three-day stay. Lots of great food, too!).

The shower was small but that was an incredibly minor issue.

Very good communication with hosts before arrival made it an easy check in. Apartment was very clean and well stocked. Great location a short walk to the station and city centre. I had a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in Lucca. The city is very family friendly, and there’s so much to see and do, with easy access to the rest of Tuscany too. If you go in April, the wisteria and other spring flowers are very special. The apartment was really comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It was close to the wall but also nice and quiet, and handy for the train station and supermarket. Paola and John were fantastic, thoughtful hosts, and we really appreciated the welcome food gifts on our arrival, as well as the local information and guides. I especially loved the beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen window, accompanied by the call of a wood pigeon.
