Aswanaya Villas Ubud

Absolutely loved our stay here. So peaceful, rooms were incredible. The bathroom is a highlight. Clean, huge bed. Staff were fantastic, nothing was a problem for them. Spent loads of time in the pool. Restaurant had a great range and juices freshly made. I recommend the pineapple juice. Our breakfast was included and there were a lot of options, all freshly made. I honestly would come back to Aswanaya villas in a heartbeat. I was sad to leave.

It was rustic, surrounded by rice fields and forces you to switch off and slow down. If you are looking for a relaxing, away from the hustle bustle and just some me time this is definitely a great place to choose. The villas were clean and had beautiful country cottage vibes. The bathroom too was quite rustic, so if you are game for a couple of crawling critters in the shower (unlike us -:() then this is for sure a great experience.

The location is about 20 minutes away from the main Ubud town. So you would either need your own transport or hire a taxi to get around. The road going into the town can be get busy with traffic as well. The in-house restaurant was below average with the choice of food and quality as well as service. Not much options nearby either.
