Nice self-contained, cute, little cabin with everything you need in serene surroundings with beautiful hummingbirds on the terrace. The owners are really nice and informative and attentive to small details, such as complimentary coffee.
15-20 min. walk downtown. Also possible to catch a taxi at any time of day.

Kitchen area was well equipped.
No breeze on the patio area as the vegetation was too dense, just needs thinning to allow some airflow. The fan just circulated the hot air so we didn't use it.

Jenny and Peter were very friendly and helpful, they assisted with organizing tours and transfers with reputable companies which was a great help. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need including comfy beds and free drinking water. The patio was really nice with a hammock where you can watch the hummingbirds feeding and soak up the nature.
The walk into town is maybe 15-20 minutes, I walked during the day and got a taxi back at night.

We had a wonderful time at Hummingbird Rest. The cabana is spacious and so well equipped. The shower was super hot, the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, the outdoor area was so lush and gorgeous. We loved laying out in the hammock and watching the hummingbirds fly past.
