This house was a great find in San Ignacio. More affordable than local hotels and much more to offer. The house looks just like the photos.
Friendly host, easy check-in, provided WhatsApp in case we needed anything (we didn't)
Clean house, nice living space with cozy couches, desk
Small, but sufficient bathrooms
Plenty of toiletries and clean-smelling towels available, including several large bath towels
Comfy beds, though a bit tall
Closet shelves in bedrooms
Ceiling fans in all rooms
A/C unit in each bedroom and in the living room
Strong Wi-Fi
New washer and dryer in an enclosed (screens) outdoor patio (hot, but keeps the house cooler)
Clothesline and pins outside the door from the laundry room
Clean, well-equipped kitchen
Large covered balcony (though it was too hot to hang out there in July ☹️)
Parking with an automatic gate.
Quiet neighborhood
Lots of attention to detail and small comforts provided for a relaxing stay
Overall, a good stay for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.
*Know before you go:
- Be sure to update your arrival time as needed because the host will be waiting to meet you in person for check-in.
- Payment is in cash.
- Leave keys in the drop box at check out.
- Location is near the edge of town which could be an issue if you don't have a car
- Though Google Maps led us right to the correct street, it was a little difficult to find the exact house. We had to ask a neighbor because the house number was not visible, but it wasn't a big deal.

It was like staying in a super nice home and hotel at the same time. Fabulous. All the details were thought of in every room.

Location has good access to 3 main streets--Bullet Tree Rd, Price Hwy and Joseph Andrew. These are critical in getting around San Ignacio. Casa is well appointed with all of the things you need to function well in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Strange issues with getting consistent hot water delivery. Not Maria's fault, but that street could really use some improvement.
