Hmmm.......

It put a roof over our head for a week and the tv worked.

Smells musty wet dog smell. Possibly the carpets. Dish drainer rack was filthy. Gas flame in oven was not variable, so we couldn't use it. There was no washing machine in the van as I assumed from the description. Although a lot of thought had been put into the visual presentation, and it was generally clean enough, I didn't feel that it was quite up to the standard expected: utensils had been put away dirty, the oven needed cleaning, bathroom floor/ door etc. One thing that stood out from the start was that all shelves were covered in trinkets and ornaments....possibly to make guests feel at home. But guests need room to put down cosmetics, cameras, phones, books etc. The table was completely set with cereal bowls and wine glasses. Why???? They were in the way! What is the point? It was okay, but for the money I expected better.

Site is amazing choose your host carefully

The site was perfect plenty to do and good facilities on site and close to amenities.

The caravan wasn't clean the gutters hadn't been done for months I must of got rid of 100+ spiders just so my wife and daughter could sleep comfortably. The walls were dirty and stuff stored all under beds and in the sofas.

A great base to explore nearby attractions

The location was great & the property was well positioned & spacious

As soon as we opened the door we were met with a disgusting dirty smell not pleasant at all we had to keep all the windows & door open. the master bedroom & sofa smelt of BO everything was grubby… doors not clean blinds had a thick layer of dust on them cupboard doors were dirty. Dust & dirt hanging down from underneath the radiator in the living room. No cooking utensils that were useable & the deck could have done with a sweep & clean. The coffee table was damaged & looked tatty. Not worth the money charged at all.

Good location on the park but next to bins. Caravan well equipped but old and needs a refurb.

Good location, close to the park amenities but next to the communal bins so can be a bit noisy with people banging the bin lids constantly! Well equipped caravan though, with a decent oven, cooking accessories and even an air fryer. Also lots of family games.

It goes without saying that if you are renting out private accommodation you should ensure the guests have everything they need to check in. We were waiting for an email to give us the code to access the key safe to enter. Guest passes also weren't provided beforehand as promised so we couldn't even use the park facilities while we waited. We ended up driving back out to a local cafe while I tried emailing and calling the owner. Finally got hold of them and got access to the accommodation 1 hour after the agreed check in time. We also should have been made aware that the key/ lock to the front door of the property is very old and takes a lot of wiggling to work. Took us a good 10 minutes of trial and error to get it just right so that it would open. The accommodation, while clear has been a much loved family holiday home for years, is in desperate need of a total refurb. Either that, or needs to be retired from being rented out. There was a strange musty smell throughout which we couldn't get rid of throughout our stay. The inside was clean 'enough' but wear and tear over the years has left it looking shabby and old. Sofas and beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable. Spiders everywhere! Lots of scratching noises under the caravan at night. Could have been birds or squirrels but being so close to the communal bins we were worried about rats. The outside, including veranda, seating area, and windows, were filthy.

Good value and good for a short break but the description and 3rd bedroom could do with an update.

Well presented holiday home with excellent communication from host. Lovely location with plenty of facilities if you want them. Suited our short break away well.

Only hand towels were provided even though towels were detailed on the list of facilities provided (no bath towels). Coffee machine doesn't work and the shower head leaks although is perfectly useable. Mattresses in the third room are poor quality and uncomfortable, curtains old and frayed.

Disappointing

Contact with the owner was good but the caravan is very old and smelt bad, it wasn't clean when we got there, there was food all over the settees, the C van was dated and even with the windows open still smelt bad. unfortunately I cannot recommend this property and for the cost was let down I think a premier inn would have been a better option.

Lack of communication and details

The caravan itself was spot on some things wasn't so clean but there was everything you would need.

What I didn't like was on arrival being told I've got to pay £130 for 2 nights for passes on top of what we paid to stay yes in mentions about buying them but no prices. Also communication with the owner was very poor they sent is the price of the passes just as we arrived and I replied asking for more information about the prices of the passes and what you get but they had already gone offline so we then had to wait 24 hours for another reply and they then done the same again when asked for more information another 24 hours went by bearing in mind we was only there for 2 nights.

Home from home.

The caravan had a lovely warm and cosy feeling too it. Plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking for a family. Felt like a home from home. Nice location not too far from the entertainment but not too close either, perfect. The balcony is a sun trap which is perfect for sun lovers like myself.

Throughout the stay, the families enjoyed the flexibility and freedom that came with staying in a caravan, allowing for spontaneous day trips and exploring around the parks. The caravan was clean, comfortable, and felt like a second home, with all the facilities provided and well-equipped. The families and children appreciated the peaceful surroundings, different board games for kids, and the good speed of Wi-Fi internet with Netflix and Amazon Prime included. The owner was fantastic with consistently communicative, easy to reach and proactive in providing updates, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free.

The additional charges for some of the on-site facilities and the unable to get the slots while booking online.

Lovely homely environment

Very homely environment, very clean, lovely welcome gift. Owner very responsive and helpful. The decor was great and welcoming. The beds was very comfortable and made very well with extra blankets. Games available for evenings. Decking with table and chairs. Would definitely book again.

I have been to a lot of hoilday homes and this was the most boring place I have been and not enjoyed

The location was very nice and clean.

There was not any thing much for teenagers to do at night no game room for pool,or snooker, or even a disco for teenagers my to lads was bored at night. And there is nothing for adults to do and bingo was rubbish.

The owner's attitude. Had the impression she wanted to make more money out of me by making a fuss of the state of the caravan when we left. She never refunded the deposit paid. A total robbery you can call it 😬😬
