CORFU PELAGOS HOTEL

The view was beyond amazing. Peaceful location, nearby shops, the beach around 15-20mins by walk, which were always enjoyable in the sun and throughout a little local Village Moraitika. The hotel was clean, and the staff very professional, helpful and welcoming. The food (breakfast and dinner) was just amazingly tasty. We were always sad when missed one of them :). We were shown the gym and how to use the equipments. The room - single bed room with kitchen, separate bedroom with ensuite - airy, always clean (cleaners coming every day), huge spacious wardrobe, kettle, basic cutlery, dishes. Toiletries in the bathroom, clean towels everyday. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love to come back again. Thank you Pelagos hotel!

Only one thing. The double bed was actually two single beds put together and they were moving away from each other in the middle, what we found quite funny in a good way.

If you like home cooked Greek food this is the hotel for you

If you’re hiring a car make sure it’s no more than fiesta sized since the roads are very narrow (we were glad we had a fiat panda)

Nice peaceful hotel in great location with excellent food and lovely staff. Good for some physical exercises – climbing up from town back to home. But – as streets are narrow then not the best for children. Can be dangerous, not because of local but tourist drivers. If someone claims about beach being too far (just 400 meters) then you better book a hotel there but you will be in a very crowded and tight atmosphere. We did not rent a car as it seemed additional and not needed stress to find parking space in the evenings. Think it should be possible to properly mark the parking places in the territory and map/print them – so it will add few places and make the system better. For team there – just make a list what to improve in order of importance and follow it step by step.

-Wi-Fi. Very unstable, especially in the evenings when used most. It should be possible to improve that a lot. Then you just need to add HDMI cables to your TV sets and everyone can enjoy their own programs from their personal computers. It is even possible to connect computers to current system through air, just connection is too weak. -Electricity. Should be a small work to replace single plugs near beds and in living room with double ones. People just have more devices to charge. If there are items that do not function (in our room jackuzzi and hair dryer) then they need to be fully disconnected or replaced. If cable hangs from the ceiling, there must also be a lamp attached to it. -More hooks for towels in kitchen and bathroom. There is never too much of them. And – use the ones you can glue to wall, easier to replace if needed. Or if you want to fasten them with screws then do not make the holes in the joints, looks not good. -Furniture. A bit old and worn out. Not a big issue in case everything functions and visual appearance is good. But this means that you need to check it in regular basis. -Waste water. There is engineering (or building) mistakes which means you need to be very careful to avoid flooding in your bathroom when taking a bath, even shower. The diameter of the outgoing sewage pipe does not correspond to the required flow rate. The system seems to be missing a sewer check valve and proper stink lock system. Probably not easy to rebuild but trust there can be some easier ways to improve that. -Pool area. Just a bit too many sunbeds around pool which makes being there a bit uncomfortable. Same time enough space on the “second” floor but the sunbeds there are used ones. Trust it is not an issue to make this area more suitable for use. -Wasps. Saw it was mentioned in lot of comments. Harmless creatures who do not attack you but who have their own mission, to take some food to their nest. You need to read about them, ask for advice and try.

Amazing stay at Hotel Pelagos Corfu! The resort has everything you need – spacious, clean rooms, delicious food, and a perfect location just 5 minutes from a stunning public beach with crystal-clear water. The staff were fantastic, especially Erjol, who kindly helped us when our car battery failed. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely return!

Dinner, pool.

The food was diverse and delicious. The rooms are really spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, they even offered us "breakfast to go" in the evening of our last night because we had an early flight the next morning. It was really quiet and the view was amazing.

The shower head can be larger. I know it's a small thing but it really makes a difference

Well equipped large room with very comfortable bed. The balcony had sun in morning for alfresco coffee with breath taking views. Excellent staff and service. Great variety of food to suit everyone.

If I am being picky for us the pool was too cold. I am not sure whether there was a warning that customers need to be physically fit to enjoy this hotels location.
