Fantastic lounge with amazing views - shame about toilet and bathroom

Beautiful location and reasonably comfortable cottage. But feel owners should be upfront about the ‘quirks’ of the property before rather than after booking. Bathroom and toilet well below par for price (bathtub grim and needs re-enamelling or scrapping). But all perfectly usable and really enjoyed our stay.

Views, character and a great vibe.

This cottage is all about the location and the character! A quirky traditional bach, with sloping floors, doors that didn't quite shut and gorgeous big windows looking over the river. We loved this place, especially the wonderful large wooden verandahs with a big outside table, perfect for watching life outside. Longish walk or short drive to town but also a restaurant within walking distance. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and great sofa for watching tv and looking out the windows.

Unpleasant and not value for money

The views were lovely and good access to the wharf/restaurants

The property was a bit of a let down and not worth the high price we spent. There were multiple large cockroaches inside the house, rusted fan that did not work properly and no aircon which made it uncomfortably hot, toilet that was small/uncomfortable being in an outbuilding layout and the bathtub was was dirty (brown stains around the drainage and brown damaged slimy worn out non slip strips which you're meant to stand on). The floors were very uneven and sometimes found it hard to balance in kitchen. The driveway was incredibly hard to even get our car in. Unpleasant stay and not worth the high prices charged.

The location, deck and the views were fantastic. Bed was comfy. Great shower, despite being over the bath.

Umbrella was broken. Bolt on French doors broken. The step up/down from bedrooms bit dodgy.

Uneven drive that could be easily fixed. Disturbing noise from the wharf all day forced us off the property.

Quirky, cosy and beautiful views

We were very happy with our stay here at this lovely clean and cosy house, it has quirky floorboards that slightly slope in places but we thought it added to the charm! Beautiful views also would definitely recommend staying here!

It’s unfortunate that the bath wasn’t able to be used especially in winter time but otherwise there were no other issues!

Relaxing and comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful.

The property was clean and comfortable in a quiet location with amazing views from every room. This was perfect for a few days of rest and relaxation.

There was nothing to not like about the property. It was quirky and floors sloped up and down which added to the character. We couldn’t fit the car in the tiny carport but was ok half off street.

Lovely views and good location. Nice decor with a nostalgic bach feel. Comfortable place to relax with everything there we needed. Liked the quirkiness. Good email communication and instructions from staff.

Just that the cold water supply in the kitchen needed to be turned off under the bench as it leaked, which meant that the dishwasher would not work, but got around it by putting a cup under the leaky connection and turning it back off when not in use !

Apart from the things we did not like we had a wonderful stay.

It was clean and comfortable with a million dollar view everything was there to make your stay run smooth.

No SKY or live tv which was good for us as we were there to escape the election. One thing older guests like us need to know is the high step up and down from the lounge and also the climb into the bath to have a shower.

La vue est incroyable. La terrasse est superbe. Les chambres sont agréables.

La salle de bain et les sanitaires ne sont pas du tout au niveau du reste du logement. Limite vétuste. Nous avons eu froid avec une seule des 2 chambres équipées d’un radiateur d’appoint et chauffage de la pièce principale en panne. Nous n’avons pas compris le système pour basculer les bouteilles de gaz donc pas d’eau chaude sur la fin de notre séjour.
