Everything you’d want for a short stay

Nice sized apartment. Has all the things you’d need for a short stay - oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. Bed was a very good size and comfy. Had a nice dining area and the bathroom was a good size with a shower/drenched with good pressure and temperature. The location was more than ideal, right between the amusements, walks and shops and just a short drive to Matlock and other places.

Toilet roll and kitchen roll was a little on the thin/cheap side but in general, no complaints and very happy with my stay!

Location. Overall apartment.

Poor internet probably because of location but tv works only off internet. Need to be told in good time to take your own fire stick. Bedroom badly designed. Nowhere to operate hair dryer. I texted and asked if there was an extension cable and no one replied. Setee old and done. Should be replaced with 2 chairs. Kitchen area badly designed. No worktop space. No need for table and chairs for 4. Shower difficult to operate. No bathroom cleaning products. No hoover. Common area dirty.

An excellent property in the heart of the peaks. Highly recommended

The property is excellent, spotlessly clean, with all amenities should you wish to eat in etc. Very spacious too. It’s in a great position with off road parking and close to all amenities. Communication from the owners is excellent and for us being dog friendly was a bonus. We would highly recommend for a visit to the peaks.

Comfortable, clean and modern.

Brilliant stay, I was there for 5 weeks for work, warm and comfortable, no designated parking but I was out all day and there are no overnight restrictions on the street outside so no problem. I actually stayed in 2 apartments as there were a couple of nights where they could not accommodate me as it was such a long stay, both were lovely, had an issue on the first night with the hob, rang up and the owner talked me through it over the phone so all good, won’t hesitate to stay again

Very nice apartment, but not warm enough during winter, and parking needs to be marked out.

The apartment is spacious, clean and very modern. The cooking equipment is excellent. It's in a great location in Matlock Bath, and despite being on the main road the apartment is well-insulated for sound and really quiet.

The heating system and radiators are inadequate to heat the large rooms effectively during winter. Admittedly, we stayed during a rather cold spell, but we could never get the lounge warmer than 19C and the bathroom warmer than 15C, regardless of what we did with the controller. This did negatively impact our level of comfort during our stay to some extent. Also, there is allocated parking, but this isn't marked out. On one occasion we couldn't park our car because another guest had parked in such a way that they used the whole of the parking area.

Excellent spot in main street just a few minutes from the station.

Very comfy beds and good quality bedlinen. Flat was nice and warm. Plenty space. Well equipped. We were able to access help on the phone when we had a problem getting the shower to switch off, and someone came to sort it. They were good at responding to messages.

The double bedroom had a ridge you had to step over to get in which was a bit of a trip hazard. The square bowls and plates are a bit unusual!

A lovely stay, an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area.

Location, apartment was clean and easy to find very comfortable beds.

Only a couple of things would have made it better for us, the heating to have been put on before we arrived, a mirror in the main bedroom, some instructions on how to use the induction hob( but U tube cane to the rescue) and just a personal one a cafetière as not a fan of instant coffee.

Absolutely fabulous, would definitely book again

Prime location for Matlock illuminations, can watch from the window so we got a double helping of the fireworks, close to everything needed so once car was parked we didn’t need to use it

Beautiful modern apartment, clean and very comfortable but cold!

It is clean, spacious and very modern. Its in the centre of the town so made it easy to access Matlock by walking.

The property says: HEATING The apartment has an independent heating and hot water system. The thermostat is on the wall in the apartment. It is a Nest thermostat, and you just rotate the outer dial to the desired temperature. However the apartmentswas never warm. My husband spent so much time trying to get the place warm, the radiators were only ever tepid and we had showers in a cold bathroom. On both days. It was so cold in there that the warmth from the shower condensed on the towel rail, which refused to warm up. My husband was determined to warm the flat as we were both cold at all times whilst in the flat and spent a lit of time sitting in bed with the covers over us. He finally realised that the Nest heating system has been present to a very low temperature, so it was impossible to make it warm in there. We believe that the presets only allowed the heating to be on for 15 minutes at a time. Therefore every time we left the apartment, we returned to cold inside. This was such a shame as the apartment was perfect apart from this

Beautiful relaxed stay in a beautiful location with great views and a great price

Beautiful location overlooking the river. Very clean with modern furniture and appliances. More spacious than I was expecting. I also liked the fact the sash windows had been sound proofed so we slept like a log both nights. Extremely good value for money.

Overall a good place to stay

Great location, good size modern apartment with comfy bed. Clear instructions, nice welcome pack and good kichen facilities.

Parking was tricky but luckily for us, the other residents did not attempt it. Key lock for apartment was a bit temperamental. Bathroom had no heating and signs of previous water leaks.

Very beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment, really comfortable and well appointed, very clean and lovely view.

Parking in Matlock Bath really problematic - I didn’t feel comfortable about security at the station car park and felt it was expensive and on road parking very restrictive so we had to be off by 9am which wasn’t relaxing. Not the property’s fault really but it spoiled our stay.

The property itself was perfect. Clean and lovely location. Nice view of the river and close to bus stop and pubs/restaurants

Nobody’s fault for the noise outside (& the motorbikes weren’t the issue) but when the temp inside the flat is 30 degrees and it’s impossible to sleep - a couple of fans could have made all the difference. The noise from people loitering outside and passing by screaming and roaring made for 2 sleepless nights. If we’d been able to close the windows and extra glazing it would have been perfect but it was impossible with the heat.

Excellent location, the apartment is done to an excellent standard very clean! Lovely welcome pack on arrival , excellent communication from staff! We had a lovely stay would defiantly use again

Sofa needs some tlc in Gullivers apartment, everything else is lovely quality! maybe put a dustpan and brush or hoover to catch any bits created from dogs or general use to help maintain the level of quality the owners provide!
