The Loft at 522

Lovely cosy little apartment over the garage adjacent to the main property - but much more spacious than you'd expect. Ample on site parking. Nice views over the countryside to the rear. Spotlessly clean, nice fresh bedding and towels. A nice pub with friendly locals (The Brown Cow) just a 15 minute walk away - or a longer walk/short drive into Carrickfergus for a wider choice of places to eat/drink. Only one night but we enjoyed our stay.

No contact at all with our hosts next door, other than by messages - which was a shame - but to be fair we are happy to be left alone. The shower was a little on the feeble side. A shortage of available working sockets always seems to get highlighted nowadays when modern travel involves so much electronic equipment that needs recharging. A little traffic noise all night long, something we had encountereed everywhere we stayed in NI - do they never sleep? Lol.... No options in the immediate are for eating/drinking. Travelling on a motorcycle we can't carry the essentials to rustle up a breakfast so a detour down into Carrickfergus was required on our way to the ferryport. All, I would stress, are observations - we wouldn't hesitate to return!

Cozy, quiet and clean. We loved the privacy and outdoor space. Easy check in and communication. Great value!
