Almost a retreat rather than just a place to stay.

There are just two rooms for rent at Lily's and for 8 of my 11 nights I was the only guest. It was such a peaceful, relaxing experience; Lily the perfect hostess, never intrusive, but always available each morning to provide whatever breakfast I desired - cooked or continental. My room was spacious, the bed warm and comfortable, fresh towels and bedding regularly, instant hot water. As for location, it's just 3 minutes' walk from the nearest train station on the Larne-Belfast line. Or there's safe off-road parking if you have a car. Perfect all round.

As I'm getting a bit older and stiffer, having the shower over the bath, rather than a walk-in, was a bit awkward.

The perfect B & B in an outstanding location.

The location is excellent with the train station a 5 minute walk away making it very easy to go to Belfast and thus to the Titanic Experience. Access to the Causeway Coast Road is moments away taking you past the Norman castle in Carrickfergus which dates from 1180. Carrickfergus is also just a 3 minute train ride away, if you prefer not to drive, though parking near the castle is free and plentiful. The location of this B & B just couldn’t be bettered. Lillia was an exceptional host providing a luxury breakfast each morning. Her coffee is of outstanding quality. The house was modern, clean and very comfortable with outdoor space available to guests.

Beautiful people, beautiful place

Such friendly, helpful and selfless people!!! After a great problem they help me with everything and make my stay and the rest of my journey possible. Thousand thanks for this again. If you stay at Foxheaven you don’t will miss anything. The breakfast is just perfect (don’t miss the delicious eggs from her own chicken) and Lilia served it just as you wish. The rooms and the house is very lovely and it’s quiet there, but it’s also only a short walk away from the train station, so you can go to Belfast in 20 minutes, without car. At the end, please excuse my terrible English, but all I want to say is: For me it was not Foxheaven - for me it was Guestheaven. Never meet so magnificent people, so I hope we will see us again. Comfortable lodging with incredible views, beautiful property, and a lovely host

Lilia was an AMAZING host. We stayed for two nights at her B&B during our honeymoon and honestly had a difficult time leaving! Her property and home are stunning with excellent views of the countryside. Lilia herself is extremely kind and gave us some great recommendations for local transportation as well as places to see and eat. The location is really good as it is a 3 minute walk to the train line and there is parking for your car at the B&B. The morning we left we had an early start and Lilia was very accommodating, making us breakfast first thing. I wish we could have stayed longer and we hope to come back. Please book here, you will NOT regret it!

Truly Heaven - but not just for foxes!

The house and the room are both spotlessly clean. The room is spacious with an en suite bathroom with all the amenities you need. Both the garden and it's view is stunning - a lot of sheep and chickens. The location is amazing, the bus stop is literally 10 steps away, the train stop is a short 2-minute walk and a taxi can be easily called. Lilia was an amazing host. Welcoming and caring. She really went above and beyond to make our stay in Northern Ireland as comfortable as can be. She made breakfast every day and it was splendid. Her Irish breakfast is really tasty and fulfilling. Everything was perfect!

Excellent choice of fruit and homemade pancakes as well as a full cooked breakfast. Fabulous view of the mountainside and Lilia's Rose garden from our window(room no.2). Only a short distance to Carrickfergus and not too far from Belfast and the North Antrim Coast.

Excellent breakfast, varied, with a nice wiew over fields, mountains and cheeps. Fox Heaven is an excellent and quiet place to visit Belfast : 2 mn walk from the train station, 2 trains/hour from early morning to 23h30 to join the two main train stations in belfast center in 20mn (45 min to city airport). So you dont need a rental car for your Belfast Visit..

the property was in an ideal location. beautiful surroundings. we stayed there for 3 nights. the train station was less then a 5 minute walk. even though the host lived there. they was very welcoming and done a lovely breakfast (using there own eggs for breakfast). normally we stay in the premier inn when we visit Northern Ireland but not no more. we also had home made muffins with our breakfast 10/10. really clean and well presented. would definitely recommend.

Liked: - wonderful hospitality - lovely house - superb en suite bathroom with toasty underfloor heating - immaculately clean - perfectly located. 5 minute drive to Carrickfergus, 5 minute walk to the train station - superb breakfast - all the facilities you need - Lilia kindly let me meet her Alsation/Collie cross Vicky, who is the smartest and best trained dog I have ever met! It was great fun playing 'catch' with her :) - secure parking on the driveway - lovely views

A delightful find.

The house is absolutely beautiful. My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Lilia is a delight, a truly lovely host, so friendly and helpful. Very tasty breakfast, too! Well positioned for access but looking out over the countryside, the location is perfect. I'd definitely come back and would highly recommend the place to others.

A 5 Star Experience

Everything here is bliss - the mountain ⛰ view, the nature, the garden, the cleanliness. The host is super friendly and helpful. It's definitely where I'm staying when next I'm in the city.
