The toilet was broken, They fixed it later but in general they should be more proactive. The host was good. He solved the problem

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia. Host is very communicative and responsive and they were really helpful when we needed to drop bags a little early. It was a lovely apartment with plenty of space for us and a bonus view of the bosphorus. Overall it was excellent
There are lots of stairs to get to the top- was difficult with a small child. We did have help with our luggage from the host though. Wifi dropped off a couple of times so we had to contact the host to sort this out Hot water seemed to drop in and out a bit but the host did offer to check it as soon as we let them know.

Perfect location, clean apartment, good communication.
The nearby mosque encourages prayer at 6:45 a.m., which woke us up every time. A district-wide water outage of almost 24 hours occurred, not due to the host's fault, though. Yet, no alternative was provided by the host. A small amount of mold in the shower, but not a significant issue.
