Bali unworthy service and quality

The accommodation is nicely located at the coast and well designed.

We received 2 hours before our check in a message that they had a double booking (we were already driving to the location). We booked a suite with 2 bedrooms, because we are a family of four. They put us instead in single bedroom suite. They only compensation they offered was a “free extra bed” in the single bedroom suite. And they offered free breakfast, which was already in our booking. They did not want to give any discount or willing to give us a proper upgrade (instead of this downgrade). The first alternative room they offered was dirty and the AC was not working. The second room was better. But still, it felt as a downgrade when suddenly you need to sleep with 4 in a room. The customer service was really poor and also there was only 1 person staff a the location to properly manage it (no bagage support or somebody at the parking area). Furthermore, the restaurant is really overpriced and lacks all taste. I paid 115k for a Nasi Campur which taste wise was an insult to the Balinese cuisine (I know after living 5 years in Indonesia). There are much better alternatives in the area so my advise is not go to this place, which looks nice on the pictures but is one big disappointment.

Great place, bagus sekali!

One of the few places in Bali with direct access to the ocean without plastic! And comfy swimming pool. Also very stylish deco and interior.

In this room the bed was not good; for tonight we have changed the room, a bit more expensive but good bed and full view on the ocean!

Paradise for westerners

Food delivery from the staff though the web app directly to where we were on the resort. The smiley staff and the architecture and furniture and the little private beach n So much more

Our villa nr1 was not the best place for people like us who need a good night sleep. Curtains that didn't block much light, resp garden lights were on long after 22:00 night peace; lot of noise from surroundings (people, ocean waves) coz its in the middle of the area; no privacy unless the curtains are closed... So if you want peace choose the other side of resort by the pool, or the upper floors. But hay, no biggie! We are in paradise and we loved it.

Nice but very isolated

It was a lovely place, staff were nice & helpful. Food was ok. Infinity pool overlooking the ocean was stunning. Air con was icy cool. No safe, but was a quiet enough place not to worry too much.

Although it was right on the ocean looking out towards Nusa Lembogon, it was over 2hrs in a car from Dempesar airport, not under an hour like the website suggested. It's also very isolated from anywhere else & not close to any markets or restaurants, so you were forced to eat at the hotel.

Top Spot!!

The private beach was fabulous, room clean, location quiet, easy to walk to cafes restaurants, casual feel, old school bali with a lot less development. Pool beautiful. I was concerned due to negative reviews but dont listen to them unless your super super fussy... it was sooo fine for me!! Loved my time here

Very very happy

The Village of Angles is an amazing place to stay, we were a large group of 13 people, we all had beautiful rooms, cleaned daily, fresh water everyday and a suitable breakfast. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

This is not a negative point, it is possibly not ideal for younger families but we still had a great time. Between the multiple pools, beach and common area we loved it.

Beautiful location, lovely accomodation and nice staff.

Wifi signal was very poor and staff couldn't help fix. There was not enough hot water to fill the bathtub, making the bathtub not possible to use.

Better to have 2 night stands with lights. One of each side of the bed, not enough hot water for the tub, wifi signal barely working in the room.

The property is very nice and quite. I choose it that it’s close to the ocean and I could hear it 24/7. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food was good. I enjoyed the massage at the property for a very good price. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Is nice place , but a bit old and need new matrases and management, deep cleaning and a bit of renovation. The staff is nice, but management is not. so unfortunately food is not really good, some rules was without seance .. we came for nyepi , but than aminities are closed. Not seanse.

The location is perfect for travelers who are looking for peace and quiet time with family or solo travelers. we did not try the pool but the view from our bedroom is perfect. The food choices are simple and straightforward and tasty.

Could it have been better? The breakfast choices could be more varied but since we are not a big breakfast person that was not a problem at all for us. so, no complaints there. the wifi connection could be better since the phone connection is really bad in that area.

Nice with private beach and nice garden. Many rooms with sea view. Big hotel area in total. It’s quite and location is good.

The breakfast is really really poor. The portion is like for children. Extras they mostly don’t have. I asked for Joghurt 3 days in in a row and they never had it. The gym is a mess. You can’t even say this is a gym. The food in the restaurant is totally overpriced . The places close by have better food for almost half price.

There are roosters in the town near by and they roost every morning. It can be quiet loud otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Staff can't communicate well in English. The room we booked didn't met expectations. The staff didn't even try to do any adjustments for us.Couldn't go for swimming in the sea. The beach was blocked along two sides, avaling us to walk only the narrow path in front of the hotel. Breakfast was poor and very little choice of food.

location, gorgeous view of the ocean, and sound of it at night and during the day; nice pool and resting area, beatiful little zoo, friendly stuff (not speaking English well, but very responding and cooperative). option to have food right at the green lawn or near the pool. the bath was big but a bit cracked and looked not perfectly clean. but i enjoyed the ocean and pool and shower.

food for breakfast was the same every day.

The bed was so comfy, the bathroom is open, you can watch the sky, palms and birds while having a shower :) they cleaned up the room every day. We had a breakfast in the pool, amazing views! Staff is very nice!

It could be renovated a bit and deep cleaned, our bedroom was dusty and looking a bit old. Shame that the food wasn’t good cause we could enjoy even more ordering food at the restaurant by the pool

We were very unhappy with our stay here as the value for money was not good. The toilet was leaking with stains on the ground suggesting it was a long term issue and not fixed. The air conditioner broke. Food was average. The photos are deceiving. The gym is not as pictured - barely any equipment available. We had to rent a scooter to find another gym in the area. The bathrooms need maintenance. There were multiple beautiful birds kept in cages which was quite depressing.
