EVERYTHING!!! Our Wana Villa was absolutely perfect: private infinity pool with stunning views, pristine outdoor Balinese bathroom, amazing bed, beautifully manicured landscaping, incredible food, but most of all, the staff led by Ketut & Devy were the most enriching people we met on Bali ❤️

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights at Loids Villa Eco Lodge, a place that truly feels completely disconnected from the outside world, located about 1,000 meters up in the mountains. The location is truly a "dream come true": pure tranquility, nature, and breathtaking scenery. From the villa, you have a spectacular view over the valley and the distant sea, constantly changing with the light of the day, a view you can quietly admire for hours. The lodge offers three types of accommodation, and we chose the Wani Villa. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff were absolutely wonderful they treated each other like family and made us feel like part of it. The care and service were exceptional, with everything arranged down to the smallest detail, showing genuine attention and heartfelt hospitality. From breakfast to dinner, everything was beautifully prepared. One of the highlights was the open-air bathroom, built into the mountainside and perfectly in harmony with nature. It was such a wonderful experience to shower outdoors, surrounded by lush greenery occasionally joined by a curious little gecko. 🌿🦎 It was also fascinating to experience the land-sea climate: heavy, dramatic rain late in the evening or at night, followed by bright, sunny weather during the day. This contrast only added to the magic of the place. In short: accommodation great , staff beyond great, facilities great. A stay where peace, purity, nature, and warmth come together perfectly. Waking up to the most impressive view, exploring the amazing garden, enjoying the nature and the authentic surroundings are just some of the best things from our stay here. This place truly is a hidden gem if you want to explore the daily life in Bali. Away from the tourist traps and deep into the natural environment. The staff is very nice and we really appreciated the way they take care of this place.

We had the most wonderful stay at Loids Villa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Davi and Ketut, who truly made our experience unforgettable. They were attentive, caring, and always went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with every amenity you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s private and serene, making it the ideal place to truly switch off from the world. The location is set in the mountains, so while it does mean that all travel is done by car, the villa provides an excellent taxi service that makes it easy to get around. (It’s around 2–2.5 hours from Denpasar Airport.) One small tip: don’t take everything your driver says at face value—ours was a bit creative with the truth! We also treated ourselves to massages during our stay, and the therapists were absolutely wonderful—professional, skilled, and incredibly relaxing. A highlight of our trip was meeting the owners, Mr & Mrs Loid, who went out of their way to make our stay even more special. They took us sightseeing around the local area in their classic VW convertible, which was such a unique and memorable experience. Not only do they have warm and welcoming personalities, but their photography skills are fantastic too! It was so lovely to spend time with them, and as if that wasn’t enough, they gifted us a small handcrafted bag as a thoughtful token of thanks—a gesture that truly touched us. All in all, I cannot fault Loids Villa, its incredible staff, or the wonderful owners. If you’re looking for peace, comfort, and genuine hospitality, this is the perfect place. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already wanting to return.

There was nothing that I didn’t like!

The location and views were absolutely breathtaking located in the jungle, with a nice cool climate. The food was quite delicious with a diverse menu, with some of the best Balinese dishes we tried in our two weeks spent there. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Perfect for the last few days in Bali to decompress and relax.

On the night of our arrival, the portions were slightly small, and we mentioned it to the staff. They of course compensated with a large barbeque feast! The location was quite remote, and slightly difficult to access, however the drive was worth it at the end. The villa we had rented was lacking privacy a little bit, being located right next to the restaurant. Although we did not feel uncomfortable, just a note.

We had a wonderful stay at Loids Villa Eco Lodge. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food simply excellent, and the owners even welcomed us personally with a small gift. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the view over the valley is absolutely breathtaking. A real highlight was the outdoor bathroom with its incredible view – such a unique experience. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and quick, and small details like plenty of power outlets with USB ports made our stay even more comfortable. For anyone looking for relaxation, stunning views, amazing service, and delicious food, this is truly the perfect place! A big thank you to the entire Villa team for making our stay so special. 🌿✨

This place is a true gem. The superlatives will sound exaggerated, but it's all accurate. The villa (2 bed) was stunning. The setting in the mountainside was breathtaking. We could barely believe our luck, our own infinity pool on the mountainside with stunning views over the valley with views as far as the sea. The villa itself is sensitively constructed, sympathetic to the local surroundings, and is tastefully decorated and very clean. The attention to detail was spot on, even the reusable water bottles were decorated with leaves. The food was good, and we loved that ingredients were locally sourced, many from their own garden. The staff were so friendly and big thanks to the chef who coped easily with 2 of my family being vegan.

I'd struggle to think of anything. The wifi wasn't especially strong.
