About this house rental
Our cozy eco-friendly house, 60m from the wonderful beach of Kobonada, has two
bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds), a fully equipped kitchen,
living room and as for the outside, all the space you can wish for, with
view to the sea and the cliffs from every spot of the house. If you are
looking for a remote place, then this is the place for you! Our solar-energy house is situated 6 km away from the village of Travasarianika and it is the only house on the beach. The left side of the beach (looking from the house) has some wooden umbrellas and a cantina and the right side of the beach is also nudist. So up to you to choose! This is a place that even in August
(high season), it never gets overcrowded.
Our place is 20 minutes driving from the beautiful capital of Cythera (Chora) and 12 minutes driving from the village of Livadi, where you can find all facilities (supermarket, tavernas etc.) The beach of Kobonada is known for the most wonderful sunrise on the
whole island, as for the sunset you will need to head to the more wild
west side for some spectacular sunsets.

There cannot be many places in Greece where one can occupy the only house on a beautiful beach like this. The house is simple but comfortable but it is all about location. It is somewhat disappointing that the beach bar insists on playing music but it does not really cause too much of a disturbance. Having the beach to oneself early morning and late evening (save for the occasional nudist) is worth it.

We had a lovely stay in the house of Katharina. The hosts were available at all time for questions and were really kind. We had some presents from their garden in the house. The house has a perfect emplacement in front of the beach in a very quiet place. The beach is almost always empty and very calm. It's the perfect place if you want to recharge the batteries. There is no phone signal in the house, but we had wifi so that it's not a huge problem.
