We had a lovely time .

A very peaceful and relaxing stay, reluctant to leave!

We found the cabin to be in a very tranquil, secluded location - perfect for a weekend getaway. We were looking for a quiet weekend in the countryside, and were delighted with our stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with various bits and pieces including plenty of cookware. The bedroom was very cosy and comfortable with a lovely bed and extremely cozy duvet and pillows - we had fantastic sleep during our stay. The bubble bath and sauna made the cabin extra welcoming for us as we were looking to relax. The cabin overall was extremely inviting and comfortable to stay in and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The view was brilliant, and we enjoyed being in such a calming, secluded location with access to the nature reserve right on the doorstep and plenty of sheep nearby to ensure we didn't feel too lonely! We never met the host, which suits us as we like to get on with our holidays independently, so the fact that the host made everything super welcoming for us before our arrival was a positive touch for us. The location of the cabin was great as-well, with good access to the likes of Fort William and Ben Nevis and surrounding areas with plenty of opportunity for walks or hiking.

Perhaps some additional signs pointing out the cabin would be useful for those unfamiliar with its location.

Cul Darach Lodge Weekend Stay

Every little detail was through, every utensil available 👌 the views were astounding to the right snowy mountains and the left green rolling hills. Walk was beautiful. And a sauna or jacuzzi to come home too.

I'm not particularly keen on sheep but I didnt have to be near them except climbing back up the side of the mountain. Made me move quicker 🤣

In the middle of Glen Roy means mountains all around, lots of sheep and birds. Tranquility and action all in one. Great accomodation we can recommend.

Rural location but only 5 mins from nearest village. Well equipped including a spa bath and sauna.

Perhaps a washing machine would be a more practical option than a dishwasher, also any eco appliance will be inferior in our experience so we couldn't work the eco heating although there were fan heaters so we weren't cold.

Very very peaceful

The lodge and the location were absolutely excellent, really fabulous for a quiet time away with some great walks and hills. Super super quiet.

Unfortunately I had to go for work and so specifically looked to see if the lodge had wifi which it said it did and said it worked well but it was really awful and massively impeded my work. I hope that this is not the norm for internet service for the local area and that I was just unlucky on this occasion but I couldn't risk trying to do work there again. It would be perfect for a work break otherwise. As it is its a perfect location for a total digital detox so would highly recommend for that! ;-)

stunning remote location. peace and quiet. jacuzzi bath, sauna, well-equipped kitchen. comfy bed with good quality bedding. deer and woodcock directly outside the windows.

Home from home...

The equipment(cooking utensils, cleaning products) were of great quality and eco friendly where possible (a lovely touch), spa bath was amazing, the view from the lounge was absolutely outstanding. There were lots of great little touches too like little folding stools, a spare couple of stackable chairs for guests , wooden bathroom stool... just a fantastic place to be!

Quiet retreat

Beautiful spot, quiet and relaxing. Veranda well situated with patio set and bbq. Sauna was a special treat.

Cutlery and glassware needed cleaning before using. No usable wifi for much of the stay made trip planning difficult.

A perfect visit to Glen Roy

Everything! This visit was perfect, the lodge was immaculate, cosy and comfy. A beautiful location that was peaceful and relaxing. And you couldn’t beat coming in from a day up the hills and relaxing in the jacuzzi bath and sauna! Would 100% recommend this lodge and would love to go back.

The only thing that was missing were some sponges to clean things with! We were provided with all the cleaning materials but no sponges so had to drive to Spean Bridge to buy some, not a big deal but just a small thing to note.

Stunningly beautiful location and view. Very peaceful and quiet, it felt isolated in the best possible way. Birdsong and cuckoos, lambs and deer in the field opposite. We loved Cul Darach, Bohuntin and Glen Roy ❤️

Peaceful and quiet retreat surrounded by beautiful views

Very quiet and peaceful location a few miles off the main road. Beautiful views from the balcony. We spent alot of time out there surrounded by trees, fields and the mountain view. We came away feeling very blissed out.
