The search for your next vacation stops here! Check out this 11th floor, ocean view, 1-bedroom apartment located at the Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. The condo is fully furnished and the layout will accommodate 4 guests.
Upon arrival, guests will enter into the kitchen and living room area. Unlike many 1-bedroom rentals in town, you do not have to walk through the bedroom to get in and out of the condo! Directly to the right is where the full bathroom is located. The bathroom features a tub, shower, vanity with sink, mirror, and toilet. The AC unit is located in the utility closet just outside the bathroom.
Continuing through the apartment, the private bedroom is also located on the right side of the apartment. The bedroom features 1 queen bed, closet, dresser for storage, nightstand, cable TV with over 100 channels to choose from, access to the ocean view balcony, blackout curtains, and a beautiful barn door for privacy.
Entering into the living room, guests will find the most relaxing part of the entire condo! The living room is open and spacious, and features endless, North-facing views of the ocean. The 11th floor offers such great views; not too high, not too low! The living room offers a dining table and chairs, queen-sized sleeper sofa, accent chairs, end tables, cable TV with over 100 channels to choose from, and access to the ocean view balcony.
As of March 2022, a beautiful shiplap wall was built and an LED electric fireplace was installed. A brand new sleeper sofa was installed, including modern pieces of decor and accents. The entire condo was painted, and a stylish barn door was installed in the bedroom. Throughout the condo, guests will enjoy tile flooring. This is truly a home away from home!
The kitchen is absolutely incredible and features brand new stainless steel appliances, new cabinets, and granite counter tops. The homeowners spared no expense! We provide all basic cookware, utensils, dishes and silver, glassware, and everything you will need to cook a full meal for the family. Unlike many rentals, this listing also features a full-size dishwasher as well as small appliances like a coffee maker and toaster. Cooking a large meal or a small snack will not be a problem! For guests who prefer to dine out, The Palace is a short walk / ride from many restaurants. Myrtle Beach also offers food delivery services such as Uber Eats and DoorDash!
As of winter 2024, the bathroom has been remodeled! The space now features a stunning, tiled, walk-in shower. The tile flows from the shower all the way around the rest of the room! A rainfall showerhead was also installed, making for an exceptional experience. A new vanity sink with plenty of underneath storage for unpacking your toiletries, and a breath-taking LED mirror with different settings! This space is unrecognizable, and we are so excited to share these amazing upgrades with you!
Pack light! We provide our guests with bath towels, washcloths, toiletries, bedding, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We will also provide basic "starter toiletries" that include toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner.
Our guests will have access to several amenities at the Palace Resort. There are 3 outdoor hot tubs, 2 large outdoor pools, 1 indoor hot tub on the 22nd floor, sauna, steamroom, fitness center, and small gameroom. In addition, there are coin-operated washers and dryers on every other floor within the complex. Our guests will also have access to drink and snack vending machines, free parking, 24-hour security, and beach access.
Guests will have access to cable and Wi-Fi.
The Palace is a 23-story complex located on South Ocean Blvd in Myrtle Beach, SC. This resort is only 1 mile from the MYR International Airport and the Coastal Grand Mall. A new Walmart just opened around the corner, and there are plenty of dining options close by. Our guests love the location and proximity to the attractions, shopping, dining, theaters, mini golf, go karts, golfing, fishing, and so much more! Our guests also have access to free parking and beach access.
Guests should keep in mind that the Palace is not a pet friendly resort. Guests are not permitted to have any pets inside the resort, or inside this rental. In addition, smoking is not permitted inside this condo, and we appreciate your cooperation.

The property was quite nice and accurately described in the online information. The customer support staff were VERY friendly and professional, and prompt with their responses. One complaint: the bath tub could not be filled!! Very disappointing after a day at the beach.

The interior spaces leading up to the property smelled of smoke & looked rather dingy. When inside the unit itself it was as pictured & the smoky smell outside was not in the space. While we appreciated getting into the property well before 4 PM check-in, many things inside the unit were broken including the barn door to the bedroom & the sofa bed. Additionally, the dining table was cheap quality and simply bumping into it would result in the leaning to the point of almost falling over. I will say the maintenance staff that came to fix the bed was kind & extremely efficient! Customer service is very responsive! I assume the same would have occurred to fix the door & table, however we did not notice these issues until after hours & were checking out the next day.
Additionally, four of us were in the property, however there were less quantities of certain items. For example: the table on had 3 stools, only 2 pool towels were left, only 3 drinking glasses & only 2 bowls/plates that were marked as microwave safe (other were glass & we did not feel comfortable microwaving them should they crack).
Cleanliness was a slight issues as the carpet in the living room was very dingy & dirty. Additionally, there were some baseboard tiles that were cracked & missing in different areas. The toilet also was hard to get to flush. The pools that are available for use were also very dirty/murky so we avoided them entirely.
For the price (& insane amount fees), we expected more.
