Lovely house, would book again

Very clean, spacious and modern house. Lovely, big bed and walk in shower. Having an upstairs and downstairs toilet was useful. Host was quick to respond when we had a question. Close to Lincoln centre but not on a main road, so no traffic noise. Really good value for money, I will book again in the future!

Adequate for a solo traveller

It was clean. It's ok for a solo traveller, business trip. Quiet location Nathe was very responsive. Has a lot of potential if attention to detail was paid.

Electronic key pad didn't work on arrival, or the manual Key box. Nathe was quickly on hand to rectify thankfully but after a long journey it was a tad disappointing. Although reviews and photos showed coffee pods, there weren't any. Very little amount of toilet paper, luckily Aldi is a 5 minute walk. Heavily stained sofa bed and spare duvet. I took photos but won't post. Hopefully things will improve without them. Green lights are on all night in the kitchen and couldn't find where to switch off. Not ideal when sleeping on the sofa bed. Not enough seating in the living room. At least an armchair would make it more comfortable, if not, another 2 seater. Was excited for a movie night with all of the surround sound speakers but couldn't find how to use them unfortunately. The WiFi password isn't correct in the booklet but on messaging Nathe he guided me and is on the router in the cupboard under the TV. I practice Hygge at home and unfortunately Hygge Homes wasn't very Hygge for us.

Great one bedroom house with good facilities. Excellent kitchen that was well resourced for our self catering needs. The location is close to town with a bus service virtually on the doorstep. Ideal for our 3 night stop.

Higher standard than average house

Extremely clean and tidy house tucked away from the main road, with parking available right outside the door. Fully equipped with everything you may need for a long or short stay, and with supermarket/ convenience stores close by. Comfortable and private. Medium walking distance (30 minutes) from the city centre. Clear communications from the host.

Restful break

It was very central, very clean and well equipped.

Ok, it would have been really excellent if there had been salt and pepper in the grinder, some complimentary coffee pods so that we didn't have to rush out and buy them! Lawn needed mowing and the garden needed desperately weeding. My husband fixed the sagging washing line, cleaned and charged the hoover which wasn't picking up, located the trip switch when the kettle and toaster stopped working! Finding the house was tricky and the instructions for entering the property unclear......it mentioned a lock box which we couldn't open, after contacting the owner found out it was an electronic door lock !!! So, recapping, we were thrilled with the house it just needed a little TLC to be excellent....the two extractor fans needed a clean top!

Wi.fi had obviously been changed recently so had to contact host as information left incorrect . Techno phobics like us consequently never got to grips with Roku . We assumed tv upstairs never worked because of this Felt garden could have been tidier as some work started and then just leaves left in decaying piles Not sure if remains of milk in bottle was a kind gesture or oversight . Would not use an opened bottle with less than an a cm of milk in it !. Would have liked a numbered bin and a recycling bin even

Perfect gem for a short stay

Lovely spacious home away from home. Loved being able to sit outside in backyard. Great having washing machine and clothesline outside for washing. Especially loved having the coffee pod machine 😍 Thanks so much to the host for letting us access property earlier

Great property

Good location for driving into Lincoln. Close to supermarkets, Aldi within walk distance. The property was easy to find when you read the instructions properly. On site parking directly outside. The garden was a good bonus, we did manage to sit out for a while. Beware anyone from up North, this is a soft water area, it's not possible to get a good cuppa. We couldn’t go the weekend without a decent cup of tea so bought bottled water and a kettle! The kitchen is well equipped with pans, cutlery, crockery etc, a couple of wooden spoons would make cooking easier. Yes, there a couple of scuff marks in the hallway, but who cares, that's not going to spoil your stay. It's lovely decorated and good sized property. The accommodation is very well equipped it had most items needed for a weekend stay. A nice touch is the availability of hand-soap by every sink and a shower gel dispenser.

Not a dislike as such, but a few minor adjustments would take this property to 10/10. It's stylishly decorated, but I feel it's been designed by a tall man. I couldn't see myself at all in the mirror in the downstairs toilet. The chest of drawers in the bedroom where the TV is would benefit from a mirror to be able to dry hair and apply makeup. The living room would benefit from a couple of side tables by the sofa for drinks and would be much more cosy and softer with a rug. The advertising is a little confusing as there seems to be two listings, with different reviews, for the same property on Newark Road. We opted for the cheaper listing. I don't think a hairdryer was listed in the facilities so I took one with me, there is one available.

Tucked away, very modern, clean and spacious rooms. Very well equipped kitchen and all throughout very well thought and modern. The garden was an added bonus!! That I was able to use in the nice weather.

Xmas day stay

Stayed as a family, 2 adults and 2 children. Was used more as a base to stay as we were out most of the day. Stayed over xmas period, owners had put a xmas tree in the living area and left us some milk in the fridge 😀 loved the coffee pods 😀 everything was easy to use or locate.

Nice Place!

Clean and fair size for a 1 bedroom with some nice decor. It has a private garden and it’s own parking. Good facilities and a 20 minute walk from downtown Lincoln.

My only negative is the bed, it’s a ‘sleigh’ style bed, which looks nice and has a solid top and bottom to the frame… However when you’re over 6ft tall you need an open ended (or an extra large) bed to have room to straighten your legs out, and so I couldn’t. Thus, I had to sleep with knees bent the whole time.

Bed squeeky and mattress very uncomfortable. Topper too small for mattress. Walls in stairway and bedroom scuffed, grubby & unpleasant. Clothes rack in closet & mirror in downstairs WC ridiculously high. No coffee table or rug in living room. Outdoor area needs maintenance. Long grass, weeds, no lighting. Found a dead pidgeon that looked like it had been there for a while before our arrival. Information folder needs updating, WiFi details incorrect. Had to message host for the correct code.

Property was what we hoped for. If I had any comments perhaps the garden could be maintained ....it is just weeds and unkept....it would have made the garden a more usable space Also and I am sure time and previous use has proved that this isn't an issue but the current position of the toaster is directly below the overhanging cupboards. We noticed that it causes the underside of the cupboards to get extremely hot and on further use we pulled the toaster forward from the cupboards. to avoid a potential fire risk. Maybe consider fixing silver foil to underside of cupboards to reflect heat back
