Lovely cottage

Cottage is beautiful inside and out, like stepping back in time. Comfy bed, warm shower. Surrounding area and views from cottage absolutely stunning. Hot tub was amazing. Can get food delivered to cottage which was great.

The cottage was very cold inside. We stayed in November. There was turf for the log burner in kitchen (which heats the radiators) but no fire lighters so we couldn't use , therefore we had very little heat. The only heat we had was coming from the 2 x electric radiators. Someone's dog was continuously barking all morning, woke us up very early.

Beautiful experience

It was a very comforting and warm feeling. Staying in this beautiful cottage from the vintage interior to the beautiful garden views. My partner and I stayed for our anniversary ❤️ and it couldn't have been more perfect. The hot tub was an amazing touch too 🙌 😍

That the gorgeous weather brought lots of flies, but that's completely out of anyone's control

Most Beautiful Cottage

This is my most favourite place I've ever stayed in and that's a lot for me as I travel around a lot. As soon as I turned up, my jaw hit the floor, it's like something out of a fairytale, just absolute paradise in my eyes, I loved the old feel the back in time, the pictures of people that used to live there. There is so much to look at, I loved the hot tub, and all the lights that come on at night gives it such a romanic feel but most of all, I loved the silence and the views. I had a wonderful time, and I will definitely be back.

Gorgeous cottage full of character

Such a gorgeous wee cottage which has been restored to look like it's from a bygone age... it has so much charm & character.. Hottub is a bonus to sit out till the wee small hours..even in the rain.. so relaxing... would definitely return & thoroughly recommend 🥰

Nothing... Although if you have mobility problems there are a few steps down to single bedroom & bathroom... but manageable

The most perfect little spot to get away from the world!

The cottage and gardens are incredible. Very cosy and secluded little spot. We stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved our stay! We can't wait to come back. From the beautiful old decor of the cottage to the wild flowers in the garden, everything was perfect! Sitting in the hot tub looking at the beautiful countryside was exactly what we needed! Thank you!

Authentic country break

The cottage was so authentic especially with all the original furniture, location was great gorgeous views and it was lovely just sitting by the fire listening to music and connecting. No TV needed in this place! Colleen was excellent to communicate with, she even put up a Happy Birthday banner, so all the wee touches make it extra special!

Fantastic stay - highly recommend

Such a cute cottage in a secluded location but still close enough to everything you need, the local Chinese even delivered and the portions are huge! The hot tub was amazing especially at night, house had everything we needed, comfy beds, good shower, Netflix.

Could do with a few more cleaning products, pot scrubber or dish wash brush, also the road down is fairly rough but it’s fine if you go slow to

Secluded slice of joy!

We loved this stay like no other, we only live an hour away but this is heaven on earth like no other. The attention to detail, from bed sheets to quality of pillows, milk, water in fridge, personalised welcome message, sliders for those who may have forgotten footwear for hot tub, immaculate hot tub, top class communication, immaculate decorating, simply 5 ⭐️, I told my husband that if life ever gets too much for me and I disappear to my happy place he will find me right here.

Lovely little cottage, with all sorts of history and antiques, yet still everything you need such as kitchen and smart TV. Properly secluded and the hot tub is fantastic. The local Chinese even deliver to the door. Will be back!

Relaxing secluded getaway in a 200 year old cottage with hot tub

The cottage is a beautiful piece of history with all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Robes and sliders are provided for the hot tub which stayed hot for the duration of our stay. We loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars. It was a perfect location to spend our anniversary. Our dinner at the The Yellow Heifer was another highlight - great recommendation. Thank you so much for the addition of our welcome sign and basket ready for arrival :-)

The cottage is secluded as description and full of character, shows the history of all owners with pictures of family on walls I found this interesting.

One candle in the downstairs room, which is battery operated candle and was turned off for our full stay, came on every night when it got dark (I took pictures to.prove I wasn't crazy) this freaked me out was afraid to go to toilet at night time by myself.
