I had a wonderful stay here and truly wish I could have stayed longer—three days was simply not enough.
The place is beautifully arranged and very thoughtful in every detail. It has everything you could need: a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, a dining area, and a clean, well-designed bathroom. Everything was included, and the hospitality made the stay even more special.
Although I had a very tight schedule every day and didn’t have much time to slow down, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surrounding nature. From the books in the house, you can tell the owners are thoughtful, curious, and enjoy learning—it adds a very personal and inspiring touch to the place.
The location is also excellent: close to Cape Point, Table Mountain, and the CBD, making it a perfect base for exploring Cape Town. I would definitely recommend staying longer if possible.
If I could rate this place, I would give it more than 10—but since that’s not possible, please consider this an “over 10” rating. Highly recommended!

Absolutely everything! There isn't anything that the hosts haven't thought of or provided. Pat and Sonya are wonderful hosts who really care about their guests' well-being and comfort. They are onsiderate, helpful and available without being intrusive. They assisted me with washing, as I as between hikes. This is by far one of the top two Booking.com venues that I have stayed at, over many years. A real gem, conveniently situated in a prime position for exploring the peninsula.
There isn't anything .ot to like!
