Location was fantastic - easy walk to the main Fish Hoek beach along Jager's Walk. Great views of False Bay at the front and mountain at the back. Accommodation was well equipped with full DSTV, WIFI and all kitchen appliances one could reasonably expect - as well as being very clean and well-maintained. Parking was also secure.

What a lovely spot, easy access to Cape Town, Fish Hoek, Simonstown and all of what the Cape Point peninsula has to offer. Caron and Larry were welcoming first day, then assumed role as our friendly neighbours (not in-your-face but lose enough if we needed anything) = Caron was great with recommending local events (a pod of whales were sighted off shore- local knowledge heard about it way before the news channel!!).
The accomodation has a lovely lived in feel, everything is available, clean and comfortable. There is off street secure parking if you're worried about the rental car, but to be honest, the area felt really really safe.
Nothing beat the morning coffee on the deck with that view over False Bay. And no two. mornings were the same. The little back yard offered shelter to sit out in on the one day the wind was blowing in off the bay.
The little kitchen was adequate for breakfasts and the occasional meal for three of us. The washing machine is clean and just works (although it can hop about a bit when spinning towels!)
Twice during the stay the bed linen and towels were changed and great housekeeper, Valencia, snuck in and spruced up the place which was a nice touch.
The whole stay felt homely from the get go - we felt soooo fortunate that we found this little gem on Booking.com - even friends that visited were impressed with where we had landed. When we next return for family reunion Between Mountain and Sea will be our absolute preference.
