Hiking, fishing, birdwatching, historic Georgetown tours, the Georgetown Loop Railroad, shopping, art galleries, and dining are available in town. In 30 minutes, you can be hitting the slopes in Breckenridge, or in about 45 minutes, you can be exploring Denver!
The Space:
Location is the key element that separates the extraordinary from the average, and the Hiker’s Haven has that key. From fishing in Georgetown Lake to walking tours of the town to riding a steam engine train and taking a tour of an old mine, there are no shortage of structured activities for you to enjoy. If you prefer your adventures to be unstructured, backcountry streams, ponds, snowshoeing, or even skiing at the long-closed Geneva Basin are all waiting for you just up over the hill. World class groomed slopes are only about 40 minutes away at either Arapahoe Basin or Keystone. For the ultimate concert experience, plan your stay around a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, just under 45 minutes from your doorstep. Located in the new Bighorn Crossing community, you have access to it all.

While we do not anticipate significant inconvenience for our guests, we acknowledge that there are some aesthetic consequences that come with development in the area. We encourage you to explore the charming downtown district, take a stroll around the lake and take advantage of the many hikes and scenic drives around Georgetown.

The property is located in an ideal location. However, there were many bleach and brown stains on the upstairs carpet along with scratched/faded flooring near and around the kitchen areaResponse from the property management company was quick. Beds were very comfortable.We would consider staying at this property again. Hopefully the flooring and carpet issues can be replaced.

Georgetown is the cutest location, and this home was right at the heart. It had all needed amenities, and was perfect for my husband and I. The location was our favorite part!! The bed was super comfy. The carpet has stains, but we understand that the property is used as a rental, so given the price, we weren’t upset by that.

The property was very cute and homey! I love that there were plenty of essentials such as shower hygiene products and a kitchen stocked with cookware, seasonings, and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our kids to play and hangout during the moments we were in the house. The town it is in, Georgetown, is SO beautiful and such a cute little town. Aside from the property itself, the location in which it is was probably my favorite part. Plenty of shops and local restaurants just down the road. Check in and out was very easy and the management is extremely communicative. Highly reccomend!

The pluses are pretty good: easy check in, garage, clean kitchen and bathrooms, beds were comfy, location on the lake and easy access to the cute Georgetown “downtown “. The negatives, are well, pretty negative: the carpet was filthy. The condo appeared new, but the carpet looked 20 years old! When we booked we checked the hot tub and fireplace amenities and assumed the rentals that were shown had that. Wrong! Silly me didn’t read the tiny print that the hot tub AND fireplace were up the road at the Microhotel. So disappointing to say the least. Slight electrical issues, had to trip the breaker a couple times to use kitchen appliances. One of the reviews stated the hot tub was up the road, but nothing about the fireplace. On a cold January eve, sure would have been nice.
