The Twenty - Piazza di Spagna apartment

The location was superb, very central. It is on a quiet side street and we slept very well. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the spanish steps and 5 from the trevi fountain. It only took us 25 minutes to walk everywhere else, Colosseum, Vatican city etc. As we visited during a heatwave, it was a welcome relief to be able to go back to the apartment during the day for a cool down. The air-conditioning was sufficient and the apartment was well equipped for self catering. The shower was excellent, spacious and with plenty of hot and cold water and strong water pressure.

We would return to this apartment again and again, my only quibble would be that both beds should be made up with plenty of pillows. I was travelling with my son and required both bedrooms but the owners assumed the 2 adults were a couple.

The location is amazing! Quiet side street and a very short walk to many attractions. Very clean and roomy. The owners are responsive and accommodating. Check-in is done through a website which allows for a flexible arrival time as the door is unlocked remotely.

The bathroom can get a bit dank smelling. The good thing is that it is easy to get a good breeze through the apartment by opening the windows.

Not enough room for 4 travellers with 4 large luggages + Needs major updating. Even though we saw a cleaner there prior to entering everything was sticky. Bathroom passable but shower shocking. Old and not enough room for the tall men in my family. Kitchen terrible. Don’t even consider to try and cook there. At the end of the day if intention is only to sleep location is fabulous
