Artemide Domus Romae

The location was incredible, 5 mins from Trevi Fountain. It was also perfect for the 8 of us for 2 days. The hosts were also very friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was positive

The apparent eas located just great. Very close to trevi fontana and to the spanish stairs and to the centre in general. Is was large and clean and with good aircondition. The host was very very nice and welcoming and helpfull and helped us with a taxi from the airport. And with recommendations to restaurants

Everything was great

Our host was very communicative before, during, and after our stay. Checking in was simple, the apartment was large with air conditioning and 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, plus 3 sleeper sofas. Ideal for our larger family. Could not be in a better location. Literally a 2 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and right in the heart of where you want to be. Highly recommend!

Can't think of a single negative thing!

The location is fantastic--central to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and walkable to key parts of Rome. Adjacent to the location is a wonderful little cafe for cappuccinos (Tre Caffe) and bites to eat. Overall, a decent value for the size and location but not the best value. In comparison to a 2 bedroom my sister stayed in a few steps away which was far more modern, this location is a bit outdated. But that's ok since you are out and about most of the time.

There are a few things to be aware of: 1. Upon arrival, the person who met us (cleaner?) asked for our passports and proceeded to take pictures on her personal phone. The manager told me later it is for identification and they deleted it. I should have stopped her--my sister on a nearby property didn't have to do that. This is definitely not required in terms of taking a picture. 2. She asked us for cash for the tax however in the Booking.com page, it doesn't state "cash only" so I wanted to pay by credit card to have a record. This took over 15 minutes of calls and trying to convince me to go to a bank and withdraw the cash. I didn't like that or they should have been clear to bring cash ahead of time. 3. The apartment is VERY spacious and comfortable for 5 of us. However, the showers are extremely small, can't even turn around. I did find a cockroach in the bathroom one evening. 4. There wasn't even hand soap in one bathroom--the cleaner gave me a bag of soap (that you use to refill a dispense), so I went out and bought us soap. 5. Some floorboards are loose throughout the apartment. 6. There is no washing machine which would have been very helpful. 7. Other bookings include a ride form the airport, but this one didn't.
