Wedmore Place

Nicola was a wonderful hostess—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. She greeted us warmly on arrival and clearly explained the house rules, which had already been communicated in advance through the Booking.com app and by email. Although the three days we spent in Makhanda were very cold, our apartment was warm and comfortable. The extra blankets provided ensured that we stayed cosy throughout our stay. The hot water was always available, which was much appreciated during the chilly weather. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own breakfast before heading out for our business commitments each morning. We also appreciated the peaceful atmosphere—there was no noise, making it an ideal place to relax after a busy day. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained self-catering accommodation in Makhanda, I highly recommend Wedmore Place. I would certainly choose to stay there again on my next visit.

Nothing at all. If I were to suggest one minor improvement, it would be to replace the shower head with a larger one for an even better showering experience. That said, the current shower head, although small, works perfectly well and does not detract from our stay.

The host was very warm and friendly. Was even prepared to assist with a Late checkout. Overall I have no complaints.. the place is very neat and is serviced daily. Nothjgv

The driveway entrance is too steep or uneven, causing my car to scrape underneath when exiting. It was really frustrating.
