Crab Hut Happiness

In a very quiet, private location. Very close to the library, shops and the beach. Also very close to public transport - buses and the train station. Also good restaurants and cafés.

Sometimes the WiFi is not that great.

I think the bathroom was set up for someone with limited mobility. The bathroom mirror was too low, ideal for someone in a wheelchair but it would have been good to have an additional one for those standing. No desk and chair, the wardrobe had been moved and the door to that wouldn't shut properly. No hooks for coats in the entrance and none in the bathroom to hang dressing gown etc whilst showing.

We enjoyed staying at this property.

Excellent location, not far from station, shops and beach. Great to have the whole flat to ourselves, especially having the kitchen. Self-catering suited us well. Size just right for us. Information about the property and also places to visit provided.

No major problems. A couple of small things - no Internet, but we knew that when we booked, and the public library nearby had free WiFi. In the kitchen, we couldn't find a dishcloth or tea towel, and there was only one teaspoon. I'm sure the owner would have dealt with this if we had asked (she lives next to the property and offers to answer queries) - but we didn't ask. So we are not complaining about anything. A comfy chair would have been nice (stools and garden chairs provided), but maybe there isn't enough room.

Loved Sherringham would not stay at the little crab again

Great position for town centre

The little crab, needs some TLC, there were cobwebs everywhere, and weeds around the front door and in the outside seating area. Someone in the owners garden was kicking a football against the window whilst we were in there. outside the front the road led to working factory so small lorries were passing quite early in the morning. A small comfortable chair would be a great addition.

The Little Crab Hut

We liked that it had its own entrance and parking right outside. The kitchen was a good size. It’s nice that there is a private porch area. The host left a folder of anything you could need in it which was nice.

In the original pictures it shows a table and chairs but the crab hut is different to the pictures so maybe they need updating. The table provided was too high and quite wobbly so could only really sit on the bed, but didn’t bother us too much.

In a good location for sheringham

Trucks up and down to the builders yard past the property were a nightmare, entrance door to the property very low resulting in me scraping the top of my head , bed was way to low but I am 73 and struggled getting up off the bed due to health issues , plus only place to sit was on a stool just inside entrance door, which again for me wasn’t ideal but we made the most of what was there , thank you for having us

Very cosy. Excellent location only a couple of minutes from the High Street off a quiet road. Small private courtyard.

It was a perfect base for us, as we were visiting family locally

It was super cosy, especially when the curtains were all pulled round. 2 minute walk around to the high st and a few minutes walk to the beach. It had everything needed for a short stay.

I think that the mattress and pillow cases could do with replacing.

A perfect stay which I would love to repeat again

The property was just perfect for us and the little extra touches like coffee tea and shampoo etc was really nice to see. When we told the host we were bringing our puppy a dog bed and water bowl was in the property waiting for us so really couldn’t have asked for more

Disappointing.

The location is brilliant and great to be able to park right outside. Owner delivered fresh towels as impossible to dry ours. She very kindly included a bottle of wine! I think this property would be better in the warmer months.

Very small. Shower very feeble. Bathroom mirror far too low. Personally for us the bed is too soft. The bed wasn’t made well and the bedding was creased badly which was not a good start. Freezing cold when we arrived as no heating on. Bathroom was very cold throughout.

Lovely place, mattress too soft (for us)

Lovely little place and actually bigger than I was expecting. However, the bed was too soft for my husband and I to the point where we actually left a night early. In addition, the blackout blinds don’t really fit the windows so I woke with the sunrise at about 5am each morning! If we hadn’t had those issues it would have been perfect!

Sorry, answered these questions the wrong way round. Place was bigger than I thought and an excellent location. Although no recycling bin provided we just used the ones for the other houses on the street.

Very enjoyable few days on the North Norfolk Coast.

Nice, clean and cosy accommodation. It suited our purpose. There was parking outside and it was easily located. It was a very short walk into Sheringham High Street for restaurants and shops. There was a small jug of milk in the fridge on arrival and tea and coffee available, which was a nice touch and appreciated - thank you.

Not really a dislike, more of a comment. The accommodation is certainly only suitable for 2 adults and 1 child of cot age, however, the cot was substantial.

The comfort of the little crab hut is lovely, was warm and near everything that you needed worth the money , next time stay 3 nights, location is perfect.it’s very cute .

The toilet wasn’t clean ,which was a shame,.
