Lovely cottage, close to all amenities, amazing view in top bedroom of the sea. Bedrooms good size, beds super comfy nice and clean, kitchen, has everything you need, comfy chairs and settee. Love the quirky stairs. Parking nice and easy Definitely stay again, so sad to leave.

Everything we expected and a little more. Seating in lounge fine but after a time a little uncomfortable. Maybe a more modern type of arm chair with softer cushions. Unfortunately we have a bed settee at home and after a time a little hard on the old bum. Kitchen well appointed and practical. Bedrooms very good. Bathroom A1. Location could not be better and the car park ideal, could see thd car at all times from the back windows. Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage. It is a really lovely and well-equipped cottage that is close to the beach and to the shops and pubs. Because of its central location, parking can be a little difficult at peak times, but if you buy a parking ticket for a week (about £35) the same ticket can be used in more than one car park. In the week that we were there we found a space in the closest car park every day except one - the next closest car park was only a couple of minutes walk away. A word of warning - the ceiling of the bedroom on the top floor is only just high enough for someone 5'8" (without shoes on) to stand in the central area (and lower where the roof slopes), so that bedroom may not be ideal for taller people. Overall it is a fabulous cottage in a great location. We will be back.

Sheringham is well worth visiting. I found the cottage to be very well presented, equipped and in a perfect centralised location. Car parking was never an issue! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely week at Crab cottage. It was in a great location next to the sea promenade. We stayed with our two spaniels, whilst there were areas on the promenade and beaches that were restricted for dogs, there was a beach 5 minutes walk east accessible at low tides. Plenty of beautiful walks from Sheringham to Cromer, Sheringham Park etc.. Found free car parking on the Esplanade. Crab cottage had everything we needed with shops, restaurants and dog friendly pubs nearby. Cottage was quirky, with comfy beds and roomy powerful shower, also the stair gate provided was great for keeping dogs downstairs.

Very bright, well equipped, clean little house in a very good position, modernised to a very high standard. No complaint, but the bathroom door is hard to close as it catches on the carpet binder at the bottom - probably easily fixed.

A very comfortable cottage with lovely sea views to the rear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The cottage is well situated, very close to the sea front and also adjacent to the main shopping street with restaurants pubs, and a supermarket nearby.

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring North Norfolk. Being so central meant everything was on your doorstep. Not anything as noisy as I though it might be. Very quiet from late evening to mid morning. Accommodation was excellent and the sea breeze kept things cool at night, despite the heatwave.

Constructive criticism: The external doors need attention as they are difficult to lock. Also the lengthy inventory check was time consuming and never been known before. Strange! On the positive side the cottage was extremely clean, comfortable and in a great location. Also quite quiet considering where it was. We would have no hesitation in booking again. Lovely cottage in a great location close to the sea. Sea views from the upstairs windows. Well equipped for self catering but also close to pub's, restaurants and cafe's to eat out. We had a lovely relaxing stay and have already booked to return next year.

Initially very surprised that Crab cottage was so close to the main street in Sheringham. However, partly due a sink hole in the high street there was not much traffic and it was quieter at night than originally expected. Parking is an irritant but did not spoil the holiday.

The cottage was clean and well equipped. Lovely views of the sea from the landing and second floor bedroom. The cental location was extremely convenient although somewhat noisy on carnival night (weds 1st). The stairs might be tricky for people of limited mobility and the attic bedroom ceiling quite low for tall people - but a lovely bedroom

A lovely, comfortable cottage in a perfect location. We, and our 2 dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our week here. No parking onsite but nearby Cliff Road car park was easily accessible - just make sure you allow a bit of time to receive your weekly pass which has to be booked online. Delightful to be at the heart of the village.

Very very disappointed with this property, there was damp patches all over the house, there was mould in the built in wardrobe, the oven did not work. Pile of rubbish outside the back door, was asked to take shoes off before going upstairs which is fair, however we decided to take our shoes off at front door so no shoes in the house at all, our feet was black after a couple of hours which tells us the wooden floors downstairs were dirty. it stated that there was parking however there is none to the property, would have been nice if the advert for the cottage would have stayed that you needed to pay for parking !. So very dissatisfied that we left the property 3 days early. Would not recommend this property to any of my family or friends.

The cottage was full of character and had everything we needed, it is very well positioned, close to the beach and shops and restaurants. there were 3 storey's in the cottage with a sea view from the top bedroom. The only points to note are the stairs, as they were a bit precarious and wouldn't be suitable for anyone elderly or infirm. The front entrance which opens onto a road with no pavement. The rear entrance has no such issue and is preferable for everyday use. The ceiling height on the third floor (5ft 8in ish) though I am 6ft 2in and managed not to bang my head. We were a party of 4 (2 adults,2 teenagers) + 2 dogs. We all really loved the cottage and really enjoyed our week there!

Lovely clean cottage very close to the seafront. Ideal location for walking our two dogs. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay although the shower drain possibly needed some attention. Need to advise before booking that there will be an extra cost for parking. Overall, there were no major problems. The cottage was lovely, well situated and we enjoyed our stay.

Description accurate although spacious for 4 it would be uncomfortable for 6 as only one toilet and bathroom and using living space for a bedroom would be too crowded. Car park behind cottage useful. Cottage clean but had a damp problem in 1st floor bedroom due to problem with roof? Had to put heating on and buy air freshners to make room habitable. Would recommend property but problem with damp and semi-blocked shower drain need urgent attention. Season ticket for parking (£27) good value and transferrable locally. Lack of information and recommendations, requires visitor book. Local amenities - places to eat and variety of shops good. Great cliff top walks and good sandy beach when the tide was out.

Walking distance from sea front, various dog friendly cafes and pubs, as well as number of fish and chip shops, a small Sainsbury's and plenty of independent little shops. Several very good restaurants too only a stroll away. The cottage was modern, clean and well equipped. Car parking was easy in a public car park behind the property. We were staying with our dog, who loved the large downstairs living room/kitchen and his costal walks. The stairs are rather narrow and steep, but I am sure this is typical of this type of cottage. Would thoroughly recommend this holiday property.
