Super place to stay in Sheringham

The cottage literally had everything you needed for a self-contained holiday. It was beautifully clean and the location was very close to all the amenities. The property is very tastefully decorated and had a real cosy feel to it, very welcome as the weather in January was not so good.

Free parking in Sheringham is very limited and the council car-parks are quite expensive but that's not the fault of the property. Parking directly outside the cottage for a short while whilst unloading the car was very useful, There were 2 council carparks very closeby which offered free parking from 18;00 to 08;00.

Comfortable, Cosy Captain's Cottage.

We liked the decor, particularly in the bedroom and bathroom. Especially the floral chair with the hare cushion and the star tassles on the door handles!The municipal carpark wasn't too far away and in September we always got a place. Daron was very quick and helpful when replying to a query that we had.

The stairs were rather steep for us over 70s.

The location and sheringham itself is wonderful, people are very welcoming and friendly. Disappointed with the cottage

The lay out of property was good

As we entered the property there was a smell of dog urine and a musty smell, the soft furnishings in the living area were dirty and uncomfortable. The freezer door was broken and fell off, I read a review on Sykes cottages which was going back to 2024 about the freezer door being broken and it’s now 2025 and it’s still broken

Highly recommend

Excellent location situated in centre of town near the seafront. Accommodation was beautiful, clean and well designed, had everything we needed. free Wi-Fi, luxury freestanding bath in bedroom, tv in bedroom with comfortable large bed. log burner with wood for first fire. Well fitted kitchen. Fresh flowers, Wine, cookies and tea coffee milk for our arrival. Us and our Dog Had a lovely week.

No garden or parking on site. But we expected that and plenty of nearby car parks (7 day ticket for £28 at the pay machine)
