Nice garden area (although partly overlooked by flats above). Pool area quiet with plenty of room. Secure complex. Plenty of parking. Restaurants & supermarkets in vicinity.

Host agreed to provide second key, but only did so for the room. There is also a 'complex' key, for entry/exit to the complex, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Without a second copy of this, you are tied together. If one of you goes to the supermarket, and takes the key, the other is locked in, or out of, the swimming pool, etc. Host said they were only allowed one key, which may be true, but its not a good scenario. Host failed to provide the full address required for the Spanish Health Form (required under Covid restrictions). Despite repeated requests, didn't provide the flat number. Suspect this is because he didn't want to draw attention to the fact that the property was being rented, as a notice in the complex suggested this was illegal - "Short term / holiday rentals prohibited according to Canary Island Tourism act". Some of the furniture could do with replacing - chest of drawers where pulling on a draw pulls off the front, rather than opening it. The €500 cash deposit is a pain. Partly because you have to carry €500 with you, and partly because you end up with €500 in your pocket at the end of the holiday. I no longer use cash on holiday, so I have to convert this back to Sterling, with the usual commission.

Only one set of keys which made it difficult for comings and goings especially if part of the family were at the poolside and the others were outside the complex, so the intercom was of no use. Only two sunbeds when the apartment is for four people. The apartment was generally dark due to its position on the block. Quite a bit of road traffic noise during the day when in the garden. Large cash deposit of 500 euros in respect of any damage/breakages etc, during stay.
