Loved the space and having the whole cottage , very clean comfortable , 2 toilets which was a bonus with the grandchildren

Sofa was uncomfortable but I understand why a wipe clean sofa is supplied , place was a little cold , heating appeared to be on a timer but it didn't come on very often , TV reception a little glitchy, no leisure passes supplied ( but we picked them up from reception ) but definitely value for money

The temperature shower knob comes off and you can't alter the temperature of the shower. A pen and paper would've been handy in the drawer with the takeaway leaflets. Perhaps a few more games and dog toys.

Great location, good value for money, nice home to stay in. Dog friendly.

There are no details on connecting to the wifi or simple instructions on how to use the appliances. Welcome book had details from 2017!!! Check in at 5pm is to late for a short stay and those with younger children and differs from details when booking. Some areas need a refresh (flooring in bathroom)

The site was great for location, the staff all friendly and helpful. The house was a great base for walks, visiting the lovely Filey and surrounding areas. On site it felt very calming, there is a lovely pub and the food was nice too. Some people said the WiFi wasn't free, I think this was confusing as there was no instructions, but there is free WiFi at the property if you go with what is on the back of the router. I would suggest taking a firestick or something if you have one, as the TV options are basic. Some reviews said the sofa wasn't comfy, it's not the greatest, but it's not the worst, it's a leather corner sofa, with loose back cushions, it is deep so if you have poor mobility it could be a small struggle, but to combat this I brought cushions from home with me and it was fine.

The house was fine, some areas need work/improving, it definitely feels like an investment property, more than a welcoming holiday home like a lot of others on the site. The welcome pack definitely needs updating, hasn't been done since 2017, no instructions for working the heating or Wifi etc. so some people who arent tech savvy may struggle. The kitchen contents need checking as there was only 3 cups and barely any drinking glasses, the two we used looked like they had been taken from a pub (probably by previous guests who wanted a glass whist in the house). When we arrived there was a damp smell, like the cleaners mop needed a good clean or at least the water to be replaced. In our opinion the owners need to stay for a week in this property, using the facilities and fixing it up a bit. It's a shame because it's a nice house in a great location on the site.
