For a weekend break this place is ideal and host is very helpful and responds quickly to queries ask

Property was very clean and tidy , beds were comfortable and it was lovely and warm. The kitchen had everything you would want and the host provided complimentary teabags, coffee which was very kind. Location was good for what we needed.

Lamp was a little bright for me in the sitting room, but that is very personal to me as I don't like bright lights.

Excellent value for money

We needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights and this cottage was ideal. Communication with Jason, the owner, was excellent and everywhere was warm, clean and tidy when we arrived. We would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't much room at the top of the stairs and some sort of stair guard would have made it feel safer but once aware of this, it didn't cause any problems.

Most acceptable accommodation for both short and longer stay and a good base for visiting Thursford.

Delighted to stay here for two nights but we would have been equally happy to have stayed in this accommodation for one week. Very efficient heating of both radiators and water. All required facilities were present. Excellent communication with host. Location was perfect for our attendance of Thursford Christmas Spectacular. (15 minutes approx. drive).

Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, fantastic location

The front garden is a walkway to next door’s property so you need to check the gates are shut before letting the dog out - not a huge issue but also need to make sure you remember!!

Slightly disappointingĺ

Bed was very comfortable. Bath sheets felt like new. Coffee machine provided.

There was no designated parking space, and I wasn't aware that parking wasn't 'on site' but on the edge of the green. In the welcome pack, the last 2 digits on the WiFi network are incorrect! Welcome pack could do with more information regarding recycling as different counties recycle different things. The shower cubicle is a good size but you need to be very slim to fit through the door opening comfortably. The majority of places also provide hand towels as well as a bath sheet. Info pack said that beach towels were available in the boiler cupboard. There was only one.

We love this little cottage. It's so clean and comfortable, and in a great location. The host is so friendly and always responds quickly to any questions. Everything you need is there like hand soap, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet rolls, kitchen condiments etc. Lovely comfortable bed too. Will definitely be booking again.

Perfect place to stay.

This was our second stay here. The cottage is just lovely, so clean and comfortable, and has everything we needed. The host Jason is excellent with responding to messages. Will definitely be booking it again.

It was in easy walking distance of town centre. And the common was handy for walking the dog, pub around the corner and a garden centre just down the road with cafe and pets welcome

Parking was close but not at the door. And the front garden was a walk through fot next door so couldn't let the dog out uncompleted.

We loved it!! We were there for the Christmas Spectacular in Thursford and the location was perfect!

The house was very festive with lovely holiday touches throughout! The house felt like home!

I would have liked a top sheet. I get very warm under a duvet and often throw it aside to cool off.

The location is great. Lots of local amenities right on the doorstep. This was my 5th stay and we always look forward to coming back. Perfect place to stay when going to see the Thursford Christmas Show.

Location was fantastic, 10 minutes walk into town. 14 minutes drive to Thurstford for the Christmas show, which was the purpose of our stay. The cottage had all amenities needed.

Lovely neat little cottage. Used for a 2 night stay - with my friend- whilst we went to see the Thursfird Christmas spectacular. All facilities there, clean and tidy and welcoming.

My only complaint is the mattresses on the beds. The single bed was a bit hard and the large bed was a bit soft. However it would not stop us staying again as it was a beautiful cottage.

Our 2nd visit. Cottage was as we remembered. Cosy, clean, well equipped and perfect for our needs. Great location for beach or countryside walks. Fakenham & its shops, restaurants etc close by. Great communication from our host, Jason from start to finish. Even the neighbours are lovely! Already booked again for next year.

Loved it and would highly recommend!

I was sent full details and pictures before my arrival, which was a great help and much appreciated. The cottage was so lovely, warm and cosy, a good size and had everything I needed, felt very homely. The sofa was very comfortable, and could have easily stayed in the comfy bed! A lovely quiet location, very picturesque and plenty around the area to visit. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when back in the area :)

Perfect for what we wanted.

Jason gave very thorough information. He was in touch on a regular basis too. A night light at the top of the stairs, that stays on, would be useful. I was slightly afraid of falling down the stairs going to toilet through the night.

Parking was difficult in the evenings when everyone was home from work.

Great house in a great location.

Everything! Stayed here with my friend for our annual walking weekend. The best accomodation we've had so far! Great house, cosy, well equipped, comfortable beds, wonderful shower etc. Great location in the countryside with good walking & a lovely pub on the doorstep, but in easy walking distance to Fakenham & a short drive to Wells, Brancaster Staithe etc. Excellent communication from our host, Jason. Clear directions plus helpful photographs to find the house & car parking. Easy to access the property - keys in key safe. Garden has shared access with next door, but gates either side meant we could let our dogs out into the garden safely. We are already looking at our diaries & planning a return trip next year. 2 night family stay

Location is good, close to Wells and can walk into pubs and shops in Fakenham. Our daughter loved the duck pond around the corner. Kitchen has every bit of equipment you need for a short trip. Bathroom is tight but manageable.
