We liked the peace and quiet.
We liked the off road parking, we were able to park next to the side gate.
Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and utensils etc. There's a fridge freezer and microwave.
We noticed that this accommodation accepts dogs.
House was warm on arrival, thank you. We liked the nice hot towel rail in the bathroom.
Good location for Walsingham, Fakenham and the north Norfolk coast - lots to see in the area.
We used the stove in the living room at night - we both have stoves at home so felt comfortable doing this.
Shower temperature was hard to control and the folding door was stiff. I have arthritis so it was a bit tricky getting in and out.
The towels provided were small - bath sheets would've been better.
Cottage has under floor heating downstairs, it was set to come on late afternoon but only the kitchen floor came on in the morning, which made the living room too cold to sit in first thing. The bedrooms and landing had separate plug in heaters. These worked well on the small bedroom and on the landing nut it was difficult to warm up the double bedroom.
However, please note that overall this is a lovely little cottage and we could see it'd be fabulous in the summer with the large, private back garden. But for my friend & I, it was cold at night and first thing in the morning as we stayed for 2 nights in February.

Perfect location for an activity day in the same village (Aroma Natural) and gave us great access to the many local beaches. It was great to have a woodburner to warm us up.

A charming cottage where we really felt at home. Our host really went the extra mile in making our stay really enjoyable - from the use of the bicycles, tasty biscuits, tea and coffee. Definitely worth a revisit when we return to north Norfolk.

Great little cottage, very cosy, particularly appreciated the log burner and underfloor heating in the freezing weather.
Cleanliness could be a little better, all part of the rustic charm I guess...!

Great underfloor heating, comfortable downstairs layout, quiet and peaceful location.
Bed mattress was a bit hammock-like and quilt was too small for our liking.

Easy access, good parking alongside cottage, (may be a litte 'tight' once the adjoining cottage is sold though - it was up for sale and empty during our stay). Well equipped, a little compact, but comfortable and warm. Ideal location for our needs during the trip.
The kitchen was a little tight but well equipped. All of the kitchen units were full with various items of paraphanalia. Unfortunatley, this meant we had nowhere for our groceries, which, for a 'self catering' property is a drawback. We coped though and are already planning to rebook the cottage for another visit next year.

Excellent Cosy cottage with great facilities
It was a bit chilly in the morning as the heating kept going down to 16 overnight and not automatically up again, we had to manually up it when we woke up.

as we booked that morning we didnt receive anything from the host so we had to chase them at 5pm but it was sent instantly. My only concern was it was quite difficult to find in the dark - fortunately a neighbour was out in their garage to I asked them where it was - it might be an idea to either put a light outside or give some marker points in the location description.
Everything was lovely.

quiet location with off road parking.
We arrived in the dark and it was difficult to find as the numbers of the houses did not follow on. We found a block of houses numbered. Then we expected to find the one we were staying in but there were a few more houses in-between It didn't really make sense. I had to go walking down the road with my phone torch on to find it whilst also speaking to the host's manager. Just a hint, if not stayed there before, try and arrive before dark so you can see the number and name of cottage.

It is a cosy little cottage, and nicely located to reach various places along the coast. We didn’t use the kitchen for cooking but it seemed to be well equipped, and the radiators upstairs warmed it up quickly when it got chilly in the evening. A couple of miles up the road in Binham were The Parlour and The Chequers Inn which both did wonderful food and dog friendly.
Unfortunately it’s lacking attention to detail in a few areas. The place needs a deep clean; a few cobwebs are forgivable, but it was things like the ground floor tiles that were in need of a thorough clean, and sand had collected at the edge of the rug. When sat on the sofa an old Liquorice Allsort revealed itself between the cushions and the fur throw had a bad smell to it. The garden also needs a tidy up, it seemed quite neglected.
The shower is very weak, I think making this better with at least a new shower head would go a long way. And the duvet in the main bedroom was very lumpy.
There was also a complimentary bag of crisps there when we arrived, whilst I understand this is just a thoughtful gesture, I think if it’s going to be done it would make more sense and be better appreciated if this was a nice locally made offering (cake?). Most cottages I’ve stayed offer a local or homemade treat on arrival (with the crisps we weren’t sure if they’d just been left behind by someone before us).
I think some simple improvements would make the cottage a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Beautifully decorated though out. Absolutely gorgeous back garden, dogs were safe too. Own driveway.

Location was great and it was very peaceful. Lots of games provided. Bikes available too even though we didn’t use them.
The shower is not fit for purpose. It wasn’t particularly clean.
When we first arrived, there was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the bedroom which was very unpleasant. If you want to use the dining table then you have to pull it out which then blocks the lounge doorway.

Lovely quaint cottage in pretty village. Outside garden and seating area front and back to make the most of the weather. There was shower gel, conditioner and Shampoo provided, and lovely biscuits thank you!! Beds were very comfy and the village so quiet!! Great Smart TV to use! Hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
No dog bed or bowl as listed 😔
The dog safe garden is lovely BUT the gate isn’t safe and comes unlocked very easily. We had to tie a dog lead around it to keep it shut!!
No space to hang clothes in tiny second bedroom.
The shower water pressure is very low.
Could have been cleaner in places, oven especially and behind areas such as TV and bed side tables.
The garden furniture could be wiped over before each stay it was full of cobwebs at the front and very dirty in the rear garden.

Very pretty, quaint little cottage beautifully presented in a quiet, tranquil setting.
Lovely to sit outside the property in the sunshine, location was so lovely and peaceful.
Perfect base for visiting other places and attractions in the area.
It was a shame there wasn't a little shop in the village for basic groceries. We had to drive to Fakenham to get some milk.

Cottage was lovely, well equipped with everything you need. Shower gel/shampoo/conditioner provided which was a little extra bonus. Ample parking space which is good in a small village location with narrow roads.

The property was easy to find and instructions received to gain entry was easy to follow. The kitchen is very well equipped even though it is compact is has everything you need. The shower was hot and shampoo etc was provided. Bedrooms were well laid out and comfortable. The lounge area has a TV and books on local area. The garden was lovely with a table and chairs and BBQ. Cycles were also provided if required we didn’t use them so can’t confirm what they are.
Nothing to dislike

Nice location, cottage was comfortable and homely. A welcome pack would have been nice. I probably noticed things more as I used to have a holiday let myself.
Shower head needs replacing, front outside light not working, bin in other bedroom hadn’t been emptied, kitchen worktop needs oiling, could have been a bit cleaner, it certainly wasn’t bad but crumbs on worktop. Just needs attention to detail to be ten out of ten.

Very cozy , quiet and good location to explore beaches on the Norfolk coast. Worked perfectly for us as 3 friends travelling for a mini break . Short drive to pub in next village.
The garden furniture was all wrapped up - perhaps it was just the time of year but it was too much effort to unwrap it to have a cup of morning tea. More logs for the fire please.

we loved the location and quaintness of the e property.
The only thing that let it down slightly was the that the shower water pressure wasn’t that good.

Well appointed, cosy, peaceful overnight, could easily walk our dog from the house. Close to the North Norfolk coastal towns and beaches.
Dining table needs to be pulled out into the lounge to eat.

Lovely cosy cottage with everything needed. Location great for coast. Comfortable, clean and lots of character. Very peaceful.
Only problems were the shower could do with an upgrade. Water sprayed everywhere! Also light at front of the house wasn't working so we found it very difficult to find in the dark.

Location very good. Private parking excellent. Sitting room and general comfort very good. Bedrooms very good. Overall, very comfortable and convenient.
The sink in the compact bathroom, is quite small.
