The room was clean, beautiful and quiet, and perfect for celebrating our 20th anniversary. We appreciated the kitchen and bathroom amenities, and enjoyed reading about the building's history. The area around the property was very walkable, with several great restaurants and bakeries in close proximity.

There was a small hiccup picking up the keys. Our room had been changed without us being notified, though it should be noted that it was an upgrade to a much nicer room. We enjoyed the upgrade, but the communication was lacking. We spent a bit of time in the entryway confused after finding no key in the lockbox we were provided. An attendant finally came to meet us, but because of a language barrier, there was even more confusion. We finally got everything figured out, and we had a fantastic stay, grateful for the upgrade. Parking was more costly and far away than we had anticipated, so we were thankful they had a space to unload our luggage. Otherwise - perfect stay, and we highly recommend!

Property was in a beautiful location very warm and had a lovely feel to it. Felt like a home away from home. Plenty of towels, lovely facilities, beds comfy!

We had extremely loud people check into the apartment above us. This was reported to the salt staff and they advised these people would be reminded about noise levels but it continued to be an issue with the guests banging slamming and dragging of furniture consistently almost every hour of the day and night go the rest of our trip - aside from just being incredibly irritating it actually kept waking our small children (actually woke them a handful of times across multiple nights during Christmas Eve especially between the hours of 11:30pm and 5am!!) I’m not so reassured that the salt staff actually spoke to them at all. When I contacted the staff on another occasion to report it further, they didn’t respond to me. I have also since sent them a message regarding a strange smell to the apartment which we couldn’t work out, assumed it was possibly a woody natural smell from the wooden ceilings or just being an older renovated building but on our last evening before checkout our children were looking under the sofa for any christmasy toys they may have dropped and my son discovered a mouldy baguette/ham sandwich under there!! We immediately notified the staff and have up until now still have had no response regarding this matter from them. It’s a shame as the start of our stay was going really pleasantly we thought it was so peaceful and homely, we were really enjoying it but the lack of decency from other guests and the lack of hygiene along with the staff ignoring messages is really what has spoiled the trip for us. Especially considering they charge an £80 cleaning fee and the apartment wasn’t even clean for us from the previous guests!!

Location was great. Located in old town just minutes to everything you need: pharmacy, bakeries, grocery store, restaurants. There was a market in the main square during the day with fresh fruits, veggies and meats/sausages from locals.

The pillows are like tissue paper. I travel professionally and rarely comment on beds unless they are just superior, but the single floppy pillow-like cloth did not make for a comfortable night's rest. Also, the Welcome Guide and other web links they sent didn't work. They apologized a day later on the guide but never sent anything so we didn't really have any house intructions.
