Great location, 15 minutes downhill walk to the city center and bus terminal. Quiet place, convenience store next to the hotel, safe neighbourhood. Big king side bed in King room. Big window facing the mountain. Value for money. 2 common kitchens for the guest with basic facilities. Great panoramic views of the city. Helpful staff.
Room gets quite warm during the afternoon- fan is provided. Lots of walking up and down the stairs.

Nestled up a hill, this great place has amazing views of Oaxaca and the mountains day and night. Everyone at the property, including Bongo (the dog), were welcoming and friendly. Bed was super comfy. We saw a hummingbird. Would definitely come back.
Nothing, but worth noting the breakfast is fruit and a light snack.

The location is ideal. While situated in a residential neighborhood it's close to del centro. There are typical urban noises for a Mexican city which we enjoy. There was hot water and the views from two open air patios are stunning and a great place to begin and end one's day.
Breakfast are actually 8:30 - 9:30 and isn't much. The coffee is reheated and not comparable to area restaurants. It would have been nice to know the street is being paved since this project has been going on for months and limits public transportation options.

The view is very nice, the bed was large (180 by 200cm)
Worst of all, the smell out of the bathroom in our room (smells like sewer) and the shared kitchen that looks like it had not been cleaned in years without decent equipment to clean (we were unable to do the dishes), also there were a lot of stairs before you could enter the house so its not easily accessible, area feels quite unsafe at night, lot of dogs that bark all night through, the fact that they told us that the room would be available at 12 but it was not (we had to wait until 2pm), and lastly, we felt very unwelcome as the host was complaining about the fact that she had too much cleaning work to do upon our arrival (this is not due to the cleaning lady, but to the fact that the house clearly was way too big to clean for just one person - the owner should hire more cleaners)

Great view from the communal terraces. Welcoming environment. Both staff and other guest where very nice and open. Amazing bar restaurant nearby. But you are out of the centre, which may suit some or be a small hike for others. Personally we enjoyed the views at the end of the day instead of the hub.
Breakfast could be better. But stops you having to run to town straight away to find food.

Great Terrace. Communal cooking and kitchen. Fabulous location with great staff, vibe and guests. Has a hotel-meets- backpacker feeling.
Was a little difficult to find at first and not easy to spot as it looks like like a house. Rooms are spread out on several levels with LOTS of stairs. Arrived in the dark with a heavy bag, so was caught a little off gaurd.

This is a great place to stay, close enough to the centre, but quieter. The terrace has an incredible view as do some of the rooms. The staff were amazing and really looked after us.
Make sure to ask for one of the rooms with a view over the city.

nothing
worst experience I’ve ever had, false publicity, the room proposed on photo is very far from what we got, and when we thought we had found a solution, we come back to the room at night to find it is infested with bedbugs and had to rush out with all our things at 1:30am

Horrible
The location is the worst: it's in the mountain, you need to walk a long time and after this you still need to go up a lot of stairs.
It's not a hotel, it's a house and everything is broken.
The showers don't have hot water or don't have cold water or don't have any water at all.
The windows in the bathroom are broken, the fan is broken or not fan at all.
The "breakfast" is just a cheap bread or a coffee or nothing.
It's full of mosquitoes and they don't provide anythinv to kill them, they also don't provide any shampoo or soap or towel. Besides, they don't clean your room, never.
The family pretend to be polite and friendly but they're fake. When the people ask them to fix the shower problem or something they just ignore them.
They have dogs and animals, just in case you have allergies.
They let you use the kitchen that is old and doesn't work and they don't provide water for cleaning or washing the dishes.

Friendly staff. They brought us to the airport in the early morning for a reasonable price. The location is awesome with the balcony. There is the option to cook your own meals and they provide drink water for free.
Not much to mention. Our room was downstairs and had a bad connection to the wifi. The wifi was better upstairs near the balcony..
