About this villa rental
Villa Remvi is a 3 level villa built on the top of a hill, just 600m from the sea, offering an amazing view of the sea, the Thodorou islet and the lower Stalos Village. Lower Stalos is a waterfront touristic village that is located 8 km away from the city of Chania. It is made-up by a long, endless, sandy, awarded a blue flag beach and a very lively waterfront with numerous cafes, restaurants, taverns and bars located along the seaside road.
The name of the villa is not accidental. Remvi means reverie…You can seat on the garden furniture on the verandas or on the beach chairs around the private pool and be lost in your thought. The area is peaceful and the view majestic. In the garden there are a barbecue and a traditional stone oven, where you can cook delicious dishes.
The villa has two entrances; one on the first level and one on the third level. The first level consists of a spacious dining room with an open plan kitchen, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a bathroom and an utility room. One more double bed is found on a mezzanine floor. A spiral staircase leads to the second level where one more double bedroom is found. The living room with the fireplace is on the third level. A bathroom and a veranda complete this level. Few stairs lead from this level to a mezzanine floor with a double bed and a bathroom.

The view was absolutely stunning, so was the garden and pool area. Located on top of a hill, but not a problem to walk 10 min to and from the beach if you're in reasonable shape.
The house itself is nice, enough space for two sets of parents, three girls in their twenties and three 17yo. A spacious livingroom on the top floor, three bathrooms and five bedrooms. Note that two of them have no doors, but still private.
Stephanos, the owner, was really helpful and came immediately if we needed him.
The house is somewhat dated and in need of a bit tlc.
Would love to come back!

A group of 3 families rented this amazing home and we were thrilled with everything about it! We had beautiful patio dinners, swam in the pool all hours of the day and night, immediate resolution of any small issue with the host, easy access to the beaches, airport, grocery stores, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, etc. Can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommend it.

High on the hill, with a superb views of the town, sea and off in the distance to Chania. It can get a little windy, but on a hot day this is not a bad thing. We had a few problems with some things, but George the owner, was very quick to sought these out for us. The beds were a little hard for some of us. Overall everything was great for us, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the villa without hesitation. We think if a manual was provided for how all the equipment worked, it would be beneficial to all, just a suggestion.
