Enjoy all Longboat Key has to offer from Harbor Villa Club! Beautifully updated 2/2 directly on the bay! Gorgeous views off the patio and from the master bedroom suite. Relax at the condo or stroll to the Gulf side and enjoy the powder white sand on the beach! Close proximity traveling south to St. Armands circle, Mote marine and fabulous restaurants or travel north and visit Anna Maria Island!

The Harbour Villa’s are just a 3-minute drive to the north end of the key home to the historic Longbeach Village, known in its earlier days as a transient fishing village. While taking a stroll through this neighborhood your likely to see peacocks on roofs or resting in someone’s yard. It is also a great place for dinner with a view, with options for waterfront restaurants such as the rustic Mar Vista or the more modern Shore. The north end of the key also holds a hidden gem known as Beer Can Island. Erosion has uprooted many of the Australian pines trees here giving it a deserted island feel, a great place worth exploring. 3 minutes in the other direction will put you at Harry’s your local corner store since 1979. Harry’s also has both a deli and an upscale restaurant behind the store, so you have options for whatever you’re in the mood for. Looking to go for a hike? Joan M. Durante Community Park is a 3-minute drive south and has excellent walking trails through the mangroves with portions that overlook the bay. There is a lot of wildlife to see here and a small park out front for children. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium is also a great place to visit if you are interested in marine life. There are many actives to enjoy on the key as well such and Paddle boarding, Kayaking, and golf. Longboat Key charters offers sightseeing/ecotours, fishing, and sunset tours. The south end of longboat meets At. Armand’s Circle which has a great mix of restaurants, bars, and unique shops. The north end of the island runs into Anna Maria Island which is a hub of entertainment as well.

Wonderful apartment, beautiful views from nicely sized balcony. Apartment is nicely decorated and was perfect retreat. Hope to be back soon!

the views are great as is the location. This unit is run down and needed multiple repairs during the 3 weeks. Below is a summary:
When I arrived I found many things that made my stay uncomfortable. 1. I placed four boxes of cereal/staples on the kitchen counter and left for an hour. When I returned the boxes were filled with ants and they were crawling all over the refrigerator, cabinets and countertop. 2. The fridge was make a loud moaning sound. there was water on the floor in front of the fridge and streaming two feet from the fridge, the rubber seals were moldy and 3. the first shelf collects water inside the fridge. 4. The toaster only toasts one side of the bread and often burns it no matter if I put it on the lowest setting, 5. the dishwasher setting do not all work and I finally figured out which setting does a full cycle, 6. the cabinets are peeling and unsightly and the 7. silverware drawer is filthy. 8. There were minimal provisions to get started without going to the grocery store and 9. there are no cleaning products to keep things sanitary.
10. The television did not work in the living room, 11. the slider to the deck would not unlock, and 12. the slider handle is broken as well as 13. the left glass panel is off the track and broken. 14. The coffee table has a loose leg.
15. The master bath shower panel is dangerously installed and is a safety hazard. 16. The sink in the master does not drain properly. 17. The shower in the second bath does not drain properly either.
18. While staying alone I was awakened in the middle of the night to a horrible chattering sound like a woodpecker on the metal roof. It took me a bit to realize that it was the shelves in the wine cooler. I had never even opened the wine cooler. 19. There seem to be rodents in the ceiling of the master bedroom that you can hear running around at night. 20. The master bed is very lumpy.
21. There were loud people in the pool past 10pm a few nights and 22. last night we had to call the police for banging bass music in the area. 23. The cleaning lady just showed up earlier than the 10am departure rqmt.
Other than the annoyances which all seem to be deferred maintenance by a subpar owner and poor maintenance management, and poor communications from our email to the management co we enjoyed being on the top floor and as I mentioned at the beginning the views are great!
