The decor is very beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and cosy, and the location is perfect.

The door lock sometimes fails, locking with the door open. The kitchen was dirty, all the dishes were poorly washed, there could have a dishwasher.

The location is excellent, nearby the train-station and the downtown. Also close to restaurants and good attractions in the city. Auto check-in it is also a plus.

The room I was in was dark (no. 3), not enough light, just light from table lamps and a warm light on the wall. The window overlooks a corridor with another building in front and it is not easy to get natural light. Allied to that, the dark wall colors don't help the lighting, especially if you need to work remotely, it can be too heavy an environment. I even tried to use the area outside at the back one day, but with rain it is not possible to work there. One of the days, the room also did not lock the door on the outside in the automatic locker and just in case, I had to leave with the computer on my back because the door of the room was unlocked. The general conditions, kitchen, bathroom, are for the “desenrasca” as they say in Portugal. Maybe if you're just on vacation and for a few days, it'll pass. But for the price, there are better options in Aveiro.
