Cozy, neat cottage for a peaceful stay

I had a lovely peaceful stay here while visiting family nearby over Christmas. The woodstove was ideal for this time of the year and really added to the atmosphere. Plus, the weather was cold so I did need the extra heat! The cottage was well kitted out, clean and comfy. They even put up a wee Christmas tree for me!

I could have used a little shelf in the bathroom for bits and bobs. And maybe a hook on the back of the bathroom door.

A lot of privacy and no reception blessing 😁

Very quiet, very kind, nice and helpful owner, though he had to go to the hospital to the new born, he managed to prepare the whole house - Congratulation one more time 😁 No reception was a blessing 😁 Internet was good, Netflix Prime were flowless. No neighbours, a lot of privacy. Absolutely can recommend it.

Location is fantastic, far from everything and still close to so many places worth visiting. Quietness and remoteness top of the excellent hosts were our main reasons for the second visit at Pat Tadys.

Cute little cottage, ideal location to travel around counties, peace and quiet, super cozy, comfortable bed, well equipped cottage, friendly hosts. I travel alone, yet felt very safe there. 👌🏻

Had a really comfortable stay here in the cottage. Such a lovely quiet area. The cottage was lovely. No TV or wifi but that didn't matter. It was just what we wanted. Lovely towns and villages short car journey away. There were lovely walks and scenic views of the valleys and waterfalls. Really had a nice time.

The only thing we could fault at The time was the weather. Typical Ireland.

Pat Tadys was a very cosy retreat, the fire was lit for me when I arrived by Roman and the property was very clean and cosy.

no signal or wifi - but this was kind of a good thing to have a break from technology.

Stayed in pat tadys from 18th November until the 21st.... Conor had the fire lit for us on arrival, plenty of logs and turf for the fire to keep us warm. 2 bathrooms in the cottage was ideal....no internet is available which was actually quite nice to get away from technology for a few days.... plenty of plugs and sockets all the same if you do need to bring anything...towels and soap and shampoo were left to us also....with regards to location, it suited us to stay here to incorporate all the sightseeing and hiking we wanted to fit in... benbulin was only 35 mins away... glencar lough and waterfall was only 20, eagles rock was 40, so plenty to see and do for all the nature enthusiasts, We did not go out dining or drinking but manorhamilton seem to have a slight buzz going about it... we stopped off at supervalue in the town and could not fault it.... i am looking forward to our next visit to pat tadys Orla from kilkenny

delightful cottage warm & cosy best peace of mind we experience in a long time

we loved the peace and quiet I thought no tv no Wi-Fi would be hard but it wasn’t at all ..if anything it made our 3 days & nights so much more special & peaceful the stars at night where amazing so clear and bright the stove was really warm plus it was lit 🔥 for our arrival …small cosy cottage with all you could possibly need or want with a very comfortable bed we had our two dogs with us and they enjoyed every second also we walked the forestry with them no leads required as not a being in sight such freedom… we had the great pleasure of meeting dessie the owner … we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back ..we never experienced peace of mind like it

some people think 🤔 they may not like the No tv no Wi-Fi but I can reassure anyone it was the greatest peace ever I experienced

Quiet and cozy cottage in Leitrim

Quiet and remote location, we loved to listen soft rain on the roof and also stargaze on clear nights, when there's no lights nowhere near. Cottage was very cozy, actually hoped for cooler nights to get an excuse to light the charming fireplace. And we felt very welcome.

Not as we didn't like it, but if you're not familiar with these kind of windy little roads. I'd suggest get back to the comfort of Pat Tadys before it gets dark,specially in rainy days. You'd be more relax there than behind the wheel.

Gem in Leitrim

Fabulous little cottage. Clean and comfy. No phone signal on 087 network until you are about a km from the house. No television either. These are not complaints just obversations as we loved it!!!! We had the lovely Dessie for a visit and a chat too 😊

A Little Gem!

Gorgeous, homely cottage - just perfect for my base whilst visiting the area.

So quaint, traditional and cosy with a turf/coal fire. Lovely and clean, relaxing bedroom with an en suite and a separate toilet off the hallway. The cottage was on a small working farm with gorgeous views and was so quiet and relaxing. Absolutely loved my stay here and hope to return again. The owners are lovely people too.

A hidden gem of rural Ireland in one of its most beautiful counties.

The host Conor and his father Des were so warm and friendly, and checked in to see how we were getting on. They both made us feel so welcome to the house and to the area. We also got a chance to feed some lambs, which was a real joy! There's no WiFi and phone signal was only accessed from the road outside, which only added to the quality of the stay. This would be a perfect place for a digital detox. The house was crystal clean and comfortable, the sounds of nature everywhere and there was a deep sense of family history about the place. It's less than 10 mins drive from Manorhamilton which is a lovely town with everything you could need, and it's is a great hub for exploring Leitrim. All appliances are in perfect working order, and the log burning stove (which was lit for us on arrival!) keeps the place toasty. Having two toilets is also a great time saver in the morning! It's dog friendly too and our young Nellie (O. E . Bulldogge) had the time of her life!

We loved the peaceful and beautiful location. There was a fire lighting in the stove for us when we arrived. The owner farmer was very helpful and friendly.

This is nice quiet rural area in north County Letrim. It is also central to Counties Sligo, Donegal, Cavan and Fermanagh to explore . You are only a half an hour away from the seaside town of Bundoran. You are also only a half an hour from Sligo or Enniskillen.

*It was very homely feeling with nice quiet surroundings. *The facilities inside were great, and it felt and looked exactly like and old cottage throughout. *Loved that it was in a quiet location but at the same time so close to the likes of Sligo town and Bundoran. *We had our dog stay with us too and they were very accommodating about it. (She had a great time) *The owners were so friendly too!
